ANALISIS DIMENSI VEGETASI MANGROVE DI AREA YANG TERPAPAR TUMPAHAN MINYAK DI PESISIR BALONGAN, INDRAMAYU

Balongan Indramayu, mendapatkan masukan limbah dari aktivitas industri minyak bumi yang mengandung hidrokarbon. Keberadaan hidrokarbon tersebut akan mencemari perairan, sedimen dan vegetasi mangrove. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dimensi mangrove, kandungan Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) di air, sedimen, akar, batang, daun dan hubungan kandungan TPH di air dan sedimen dengan TPH di akar, batang dan daun Rhizophora mucronata dan Rhizophora stylosa serta hubungan dimensi mangrove dengan kandungan TPH di air dan sedimen. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu metode survey, dengan teknik pengambilan stratified sampling pada 4 stasiun dengan 4 kali ulangan. Data di analisis secara deskriptif komparatif dan menggunakan regresi korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dimensi vegetasi mangrove di stasiun II memiliki diameter dan tinggi tertinggi yaitu diameter 22,29 cm, tinggi 5,25 m dengan jenis Thespesia populnea, kandungan TPH di air berkisar 67,59-103,17 ppm, TPH di sedimen berkisar 7108,55-9034,25 ppm, TPH di akar Rhizophora mucronata dan Rhizophora stylosa berkisar 210.90-420.78 ppm dan 132.89-321.36 ppm, TPH di batang berkisar 125,80-293,85 ppm dan 85,06-156,58 ppm, TPH di daun berkisar 79,60-88,10 ppm dan 30,12-96,66 ppm. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut keberadaan TPH di air dan sedimen berpengaruh terhadap TPH di akar, batang dan daun Rhizophora mucronata dan Rhizophora stylosa, tetapi TPH di air dan sedimen tidak berpengaruh terhadap diameter dan tinggi Rhizophora mucronata dan Rhizophora stylosa.

Balongan Indramayu, taken load of hydrocarbon pollutants from oil industrial activities. The petroleum hydrocarbon polluted the water, sediment, and mangrove vegetation. This research aimed to analysed the dimension of mangroves, the existence of TPH in water, sediment, roots, stems and leaves; as well as to find out the correlation between TPH of water and sediment to TPH in the roots, stems, and leaves of Rhizophora mucronata and Rhizophora stylosa, and the correlation between mangrove dimension with TPH in the water and sediments. Survey method was conducted by stratified sampling with 4 stations and 4 replications. Data then analyzed using descriptive comparative and correlation regression. The results showed the dimensions of mangroves in the station II had the highest diameter and height which were 22.29 centimeters and 5.25 meters respectively with the kind of Thespesia populnea, TPH value of water ranged 67.59-103.17 ppm, TPH value of sediment ranged 7108.55-9034.25 ppm, TPH values of Rhizophora mucronata and Rhizophora stylosa roots ranged 210.90-420.78 ppm and 132.89-321.36 ppm, TPH values of stems ranged 125.80-293.85 ppm and 85.06-156.58 ppm, TPH values of leaves ranged 79.60-88.10 ppm and 30.12-96.66 ppm. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the existence of TPH in water and sediments gave significant effect to TPH in the roots, stems and leaves of Rhizophora mucronata and Rhizophora stylosa but didn’t give effect to the diameter and heights of Rhizophora mucronata and Rhizophora stylosa.
