GEOLOGI DAN STUDI ALTERASI-MINERALISASI DAERAH HARGEREJO DAN SEKITARNYA, KECAMATAN BAGELEN, KABUPATEN PURWOREJO, JAWA TENGAH

Daerah Hargerejo berada di sisi barat pegunungan Kulonprogo. Daerah ini memiliki litologi berupa satuan breksi andesit, satuan intrusi andesit, satuan intrusi dasit, satuan endapan alluvial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji alterasi dan mineralisasi berdasarkan data XRD (X-ray diffraction), XRF (X-ray fluorescence), AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer), petrografi, mineragrafi untuk mengetahui tipe endapan mineralnya. Alterasi pada daerah penelitian dijumpai 4 zona, yaitu Zona Kuarsa + Albit + Klorit + Kalsit, Zona Kuarsa + Muskovit + Monmorilonit, Zona Kuarsa + Kaolin + Muskovit + Monmorilonit dan Zona Silisifikasi. Mineralisasi yang terjadi merupakan mineralisasi logam dasar (Pb, Zn, Cu) dan Ag, Au. Mineral bijih yang dapat ditemukan antara lain pirit, kalkopirit, sfalerit, molibdenit, magnetit, malakit. Dari semua hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa endapan mineral yang terjadi adalah endapan epitermal sulfidasi tinggi.

Hargerejo area is located on the western part of Kulonprogo Mountain. This area is composed of several lithology that andesite breccia, andesite intrusion, dacitic intrusion and alluvial deposits. Aims of research is pertaining to alteration and mineralization base on XRD (X-ray diffraction), XRF( X-ray fluorescence), AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer), petrography and mineragraphy which correlated with type of mineral deposits. Alteration in research area was found such as 4 zone, i.e. zone of quartz + chlorite+calcite+albit, zone of quartz+muscovite+montmorillonit, Zone of quartz+kaoline+muscovite+monmorilonit and Zone of Sillisification. The mineralization occurs is base metals (Pb, Zn, Cu) and Ag, Au. Ore minerals have been found such as pyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrity, molybdenite, magnetite, malachite. Based on all of analysis that it can be sum up that type of mineral deposits in research area is high sulfidation epitermal deposits.
