Penelitian yang berjudul “Produktivitas Sapi Potong Pada Kelompok Peserta Program Kemitraan Bina Lingkungan (PKBL) Bank Tabungan Negara” ini dilaksanakan dari tanggal 25 Desember 2015 sampai dengan 25 Januari 2016 dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat produksi pertambahan bobot badan harian (PBBH) sapi potong pada kelompok peserta PKBL dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan produksi sapi potong antara kelompok peserta PKBL di Desa Datar, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, dengan kelompok peserta di Desa Gandrungmangu, Kecamatan Gandrungmangu, Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei dengan sampel penelitian berupa sapi pada anggota kelompok peserta progam di dua desa tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) di kelompok PKBL Desa Datar, pada periode pemeliharan ke-1 diperoleh PBBH sebagai berikut: sapi bali 0,835 kg/ekor/hari dan sapi madura 0,844 kg/ekor/hari, dan pada periode pemeliharan ke-2 diperoleh PBBH sapi bali 0,956 kg/ekor/hari, sapi madura 0,960 kg/ekor/hari, dan sapi ongole 1,139 kg/ekor/hari, (2) di Desa Gandrungmangu, pada periode pemeliharan ke 1 diperoleh PBBH: sapi persilangan simental 1,015 kg/ekor/hari dan sapi persilangan limosin 0,919 kg/ekor/hari, sedangkan pada periode pemeliharan ke 2 sapi persilangan simental 1,134 kg/ekor/hari dan sapi persilangan limosin 1,578 kg/ekor/hari. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) tingkat produksi sapi Bali, Madura dan PO di kelompok PKBL Desa Datar memiliki bobot awal 172-238 kg, bobot akhir 223-281 kg dan PBBH 0,84–1,14 kg/ekor/hari, sedangkan tingkat produksi sapi Peranakan Limosin dan Peranakan Simental di kelompok PKBL Desa Gandrungmangu memiliki bobot awal 360-450 kg, bobot akhir 458-610 kg, dan PBBH 0,92–1,58 kg/ekor/hari, (2) tingkat produktivitas PBBH sapi di pengaruhi oleh bangsa sapi, pakan, bobot awal pemeliharaan, lama pemeliharaan, dan pola pemeliharaan. Produktivitas sapi potong kelompok PKBL relatif sama dan manajemen pemeliharan di kedua kelompok sudah baik.

This study, entitled "Beef Cattle Productivity at Participant Groups of Program Kemintraan Bina Lingkungan of Bank Tabungan Negara ", had been conducted from December 25th, 2015, to January 25th, 2016. It aimed at determining the production rate of beef cattle Average Daily Gain (ADG) by member groups of Program Kemintraan Bina Lingkungan (PKBL, Indonesian: Environmental Development Partnership Program) of Bank Tabungan Negara of Indonesia and at assessing the differences in beef cattle production between those run by the group in Desa Datar, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, and those in Desa Gandrungmangu, Kecamatan Gandrungmangu, Kabupaten Cilacap. The research was conducted by survey method whose sample were beef cattle bred by the groups in the two vilages. The results showed that: (1). The group in Desa Datar had produced their beef cattle ADG in the first period as follows: the ADG of Bali cattle was 0.835 kg/ cattle/ day that of Madura cattle was 0,844 kg/cattle /day, while in the second period the ADG of Bali cattle was 0.956 kg/ head/ day, Madura cattle was 0,960 kg/ head/ day, and Ongole cattle was 1.139 kg/ head/ day, (2) in Desa Gandrungmangu, the ADG in the initial period was as follows: the ADG of Simmental crossbred cattle was 1.015 kg/ head/ day and that of Limousine crossbred cattle was  0.919 kg/ head/ day, while in the second period rearing the Simmental crossbred was 1,134 kg/ head/ day and the Limousine crossbred was 1.578 kg/ head/ day. It can be concluded that (1) the productivity of Bali, Madura and Ongole cattle in PKBL group of Desa Datar can bee seen as follows: the initial weight of 172-238 kg, final weight of 223-281 kg, and ADG ranging from 0.84 to 1.14 kg/ head/ day, while that of Limousine crossbreed and Simental crossbreed in PKBL group of Desa Gandrungmangu was initial weight of 360-450 kg, final weight of 458-610 kg, and ADG ranging from 0.92 to 1.58 kg/ head/ day. (2) Beef cattle ADG productivity is influenced by the breed type, feed, the weight at initial breeding, duration of breeding, and breeding patterns. The productivity of beef cattle at both PKBL groups are relatively similar and the breeding management in both groups have been well arranged.
