Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari tanggal 1 - 30 April 2016 di Kelompok Sapi Perah Tirto Margo Utomo dan Tirto Margo Mukti Desa Limpakuwus, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas. Sasaran penelitian yaitu 20 peternak dari Kelompok Tirto Margo Utomo dan Tirto Margo Mukti, masing-masing kelompok 10 peternak. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu susu yang diperoleh dari kedua kelompok tersebut sebanyak 20 liter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membandingkan kadar total solid dan berat jenis susu serta mengetahui hubungan kadar total solid dan berat jenis susu di Kelompok Tirto Margo Utomo dan Tirto Margo Mukti. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji “t” menunjukkan rataan kadar total solid susu di Kelompok Tirto Margo Utomo dan Tirto Margo Mukti tidak berbeda nyata (P > 0,05). Rataan kadar total solid susu di Kelompok Tirto Margo Utomo adalah 10,87 ± 1,28, sedangkan di Kelompok Tirto Margo Mukti adalah 11,44 ± 1,53. Rataan kadar total solid susu di kedua kelompok tersebut sudah memenuhi SNI 2011 (kadar total solid minimum 10,8 %). Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji “t” menunjukkan rataan nilai berat jenis susu di Kelompok Tirto Margo Utomo dan Tirto Margo Mukti juga tidak berbeda nyata (P > 0,05). Rataan nilai berat jenis susu di Kelompok Tirto Margo Utomo adalah 1,0246 ± 0,0024, sedangkan di Kelompok Tirto Margo Mukti adalah 1,0251 ± 0,0027. Rataan nilai berat jenis susu di kedua kelompok tersebut sudah memenuhi SNI 2011 (berat jenis susu minimum 1,0270 g/ml). Hasil analisis data menggunakan regresi linier menunjukan hubungan total solid dengan berat jenis susu di Kelompok Tirto Margo Utomo diformulasikan sebagai Y = 1,008 + 0,002 X, sedangkan di Kelompok Tirto Margo Mukti Y = 1,007 + 0,002 X. Kualitas susu ditinjau berdasarkan total solid dan berat jenis susu di Kelompok Tirto Margo Utomo dan Tirto Margo Mukti tidak berbeda nyata.

This study, which had been conducted from April 1 to 30 2016 in Dairy Farmer Groups of Tirto Margo Utomo and Tirto Margo Mukti Limpakuwus Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, targeted 20 farmers from both groups each of which was taken 10 farmers. The research sample was 20 liters of milk that was obtained from both groups. The purposes of this study were to compare the total solid content and density values of milk produced from both groups and to determine the content of its total solid and density values. The data which was analyzed with the test “t” showed that the averages of the milk total solid contents produced from both groups were not different (P > 0,05). The average of the milk total solid content produced from Group Tirto Margo Utomo was 10,87 ± 1,28, while that from Group Tirto Margo Mukti was 11,44 ± 1,53. The averages of the milk total solid content from both groups meets the standard of SNI (Indonesian: Indonesian Standard Values) 2011 (total solid of milk minimum 10,8 %). The results of the test “t” showed that the average values of the milk density in both groups were not different (P > 0,05). The average value of the milk density in Group Tirto Margo Utomo was 1,0246 ± 0,0024, while that in Group Tirto Margo Mukti was 1,0251 ± 0,0027. The average values of the milk density in both groups met the SNI 2011 (density of milk minimum 1,0270 g/ml). The results of the linear regression analysis showed that the relationship between total solid and density of milk in Group Tirto Margo Utomo was formulated in an equation Y = 1,008 + 0,002 X, while that in Group Tirto Margo Mukti was formulated in Y = 1,007 + 0,002 X. The milk quality in terms of its total solid and density in both groups are not significantly different.
