Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ukuran linier tubuh lingkar dada (LD), tinggi gumba (TG), panjang badan (PB), perbedaan ukuran linier tubuh sapi jantan dan betina, serta hubungan umur dengan ukuran linier tubuh sapi Pasundan jantan dan betina dewasa. Materi penelitian yaitu sapi Pasundan dewasa sebanyak 87 ekor. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji t dan regresi dengan variabel Dummy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran linier tubuh sapi Pasundan dewasa di Kabupaten Ciamis pada sapi jantan dewasa memiliki rataan LD 147,33 ± 15,36 cm, TG 120,57 ± 8,21 cm, dan PB 114,114 ± 8,04 cm, pada sapi Pasundan betina dewasa memiliki rataan LD 148,94 ± 12,14 cm, TG 115,50 ± 6,66 cm, dan PB 115,14 ± 7,81 cm. Persamaan regresi ukuran LD sapi jantan Y= 138,535 + 5,599X dan sapi betina Y= 133,755 + 5,599X (r2= 20,5 %), TG sapi jantan Y= 116,966 + 2,295X dan sapi betina Y= 109,277 + 2,295X (r2= 19,5%), dan PB sapi jantan Y= 108,007 + 3,905X dan sapi betina Y= 104,546 + 3,905X (r2= 27,1%). Kesimpulan penelitian adalah penampilan ukuran linier tubuh yaitu lingkar dada dan panjang badan sapi Pasundan jantan dan betina dewasa tidak berbeda, sedangkan pada ukuran linier tinggi gumba berbeda. Umur dan jenis kelamin memiliki hubungan sangat nyata terhadap penampilan ukuran linier tubuh (lingkar dada, tinggi gumba, panjang badan) sapi Pasundan jantan dan betina dewasa.

The purpose of this research was to measure Pasundan cattle’s linear sizes consisting of their chest girth (CG), gumba height (GH), and body length (BL), the linear sizes differences between those of the bulls’ and the cows’, and the relationship between their age and the linier sizes of the bulls’ and the cows’ bodies. The research material was 87 Pasundan adult cattle. This research applied a descriptive analysis, t test and regression with Dummy variables. The results showed that the linear sizes of Pasundan adult bulls in Ciamis regency on average were as follows: chest girth was 147.33 ± 15.36 cm, GH 120.57 ± 8.21 cm, and BL 114.114 ± 8.04 cm, whereas of the cows had the average CG 148.94 ± 12.14 cm, GH 115.50 ± 6.66 cm, and BL 115.14 ± 7.81 cm. The regression equation for the bulls’ CG is Y= 138.535 + 5.599X and the cows’s one is Y= 133.755 + 5.599X (r2 = 20.5 %), the bulls’ GH is Y= 116.966 + 2.295X and the cows’ is Y= 109.277 + 2.295X (r2 = 19.5 %) and the bulls’ BL is Y= 108.007 + 3.905X and the cows’ is Y= 104.546 + 3.905X (r2 = 27.1 %). This research concludes that there is no difference in the appearance of body linear size for the chest girth and body length between those of Pasundan cattle bulls’ and the cows’, whereas the linear size of their gumba height is different. The age and sex have a very significant relationship with the appearance of the linier size (chest girth, gumba height, body length) of Pasundan cattle bulls’ and cows’ bodies.
