Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi jenis dekomposer terhadap pertumbuhan grafting cengkeh tipe Zanzibar dengan Pucuk Merah, 2) mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi zat pengatur tumbuh giberelin (GA3) terhadap pertumbuhann grafting cengkeh tipe Zanzibar dengan Pucuk Merah, 3) mengetahui interaksi jenis dekomposer dan konsentrasi zat pengatur tumbuh giberelin (GA3) terhadap pertumbuhan grafting cengkeh tipe Zanzibar dengan Pucuk Merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan milik PT. Poultrindo Lestari di Desa Senggiling, Kecamatan Teluk Sebong, Kabupaten Bintan, Kepulauan Riau. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan 15 hari, mulai bulan September 2014 sampai dengan Januari 2015. Penelitian merupakan percobaan pot dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial dengan 2 faktor masing-masing 3 taraf dan 6 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan jenis dekomposer memberikan pengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, diameter pangkal batang dan kandungan N, P, dan K pada jaringan daun grafting cengkeh. Perlakuan konsentrasi GA3 memberikan pengaruh terhadap dan kandungan N, P, dan K pada jaringan daun grafting cengkeh. Sedangkan interaksi jenis dekomposer dan konsentrasi GA3 memberikan pengaruh terhadap diameter pangkal batang grafting cengkeh.

This research are aimed 1) study the effect of decomposer type to Zanzibar clove with Pucuk Merah grafting, 2) study the effect of concentration of a plant growth regulator giberelin (GA3) to Zanzibar clove with Red Lip grafting, 3) study the interaction between decomposer type and concentration of a plant growth regulator giberelin (GA3) to Zanzibar clove with Red Lip grafting. This research was conducted in the field of PT Poultrindo Lestari in Senggiling Village, Teluk Sebong-sub district, Bintan district, that located in Riau Island. This research took time for about 3 months 15 days which was started in September 2014 until January 2015. The research was pot experiment with Randomized Block Design (RBD) factorial pattern with two factors each three treatments with six replications. The result of this research shows that the treatment using those three decomposers affected plant height, the number of branch, the diameter of stem and the content of N, P, and K in the tissue of clove grafting. Furthermore, the treatment of GA3 concentration also gives an effect against the content of N, P, and K in the leaf tissue of clove grafting. The last is the interaction between the decomposer type and GA3 concentration that also affected the growth of clove diameter stem grafting.
