Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian budaya yang membahas tentang penyebab dan solusi menghadapi masalah hikikomori. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah dorama yang berjudul Kazoku Gēmu. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) Apa penyebab munculnya hikikomori? 2) Bagaimana solusi menghadapi masalah hikikomori? Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik simak dan catat. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori kecemasan dan mekanisme pertahanan ego dari psikoanalisis Freud. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 22 data penyebab hikikomori dan 18 data solusi menghadapi masalah hikikomori. Menurut Freud, kecemasan terbagi menjadi 3, dari 22 data terdapat 8 data kecemasan realitas, 13 data kecemasan neurotik, dan 1 data kecemasan moral. Kemudian penyebab yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah kecemasan neurotik yaitu, 6 data keluarga Shigeyuki tidak benar-benar peduli padanya, 2 data dikhianati oleh temannya, 2 data dibandingkan dengan kakaknya dan merasa dirinya tidak dibutuhkan, serta 2 data tidak ada komunikasi di antara keluarga. Selanjutnya ditemukan 5 jenis mekanisme pertahanan ego dalam dorama ini, yaitu 1 data proyeksi, 1 data pembentukan reaksi, 1 data pemindahan, 1 data rasionalisasi, dan 14 data kompensasi. Sebagai solusi untuk menghadapi masalah hikikomori, lebih banyak ditemukan kompensasi dalam bentuk, 5 data melawan saat ditindas dan tidak menghindar dari masalah, 3 data belajar dengan giat, 2 data mencari kepuasan, dan 4 data menjalin komunikasi dengan keluarga. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah di dalam dorama Kazoku Gēmu penyebab munculnya fenomena hikikomori paling banyak dikarenakan adanya masalah di dalam keluarga. Berdasarkan hal itu masalah hikikomori bisa diselesaikan dalam lingkungan keluarga.

This research is a cultural research which discusses about the causes and the solutions of hikikomori. This research will use a dorama titled Kazoku Gēmu as the main resource data. There will be two main issues raised on this study, which are: 1) What are the causes of hikikomori? 2) How can we deal the problems of hikikomori? This thesis will use the qualitative research as the method to examine the resources and the data collection technique that will be used are the simak method and record technique. This research will also use the theory of anxiety and ego defense mechanisms of Freud's psychoanalysis. On this dorama, the results showed there were 22 data that cause of hikikomori and 18 data for solutions to problems hikikomori. By referring to the analysis of Freud regarding the 3 types of anxiety, then among the 22 results, eight of them realistic anxiety, thirteen of neurotic anxiety, and the last one is the moral anxiety. Hence the main type is the neurotic anxiety because there are 6 data that his family does not really matter about Shigeyuki, 2 data show that his friends betrayed him, 2 data show that he is always being compared with his brother and feeling unneeded, and the last 2 data that show no communication between the families. Then, there are also 5 types of ego defense mechanism, which are 1 data of projection, 1 data of reaction formation, 1 data of displacement, 1 data of rationalization, and 14 data of compensation. Furthermore, as a solution to overcome the hikikomori, the compensation could commonly be found on: 5 data are when fighting against the bullying and did not escape from the problem, 3 data are studying hard, 2 data are on seeking the satisfaction, and 4 data are on establishing communication with the family. The conclusion is that the causes of hikikomori in the dorama occurred due to some problems among the family. Therefore hikikomori problem could be solved within the family.
