LEVEL PUPUK CAIR URIN SAPI BUNTING YANG DISUPLEMENTASI HERBAL TERHADAP JUMLAH DAUN DAN DIAMETER BATANG RUMPUT GAJAH PADA DEFOLIASI KEDUA

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji level pupuk cair urin sapi bunting yang disuplementasi herbal terhadap jumlah daun dan diameter batang rumput gajah pada defoliasi kedua. Materi yang digunakan adalah rumput gajah, pupuk organik granul, urin sapi bunting yang disuplementasi herbal, cangkul, sabit, meteran, alat ukur, alat hitung dan pensil. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan rancangan Nested (Grouped) dengan 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Ada 4 jenis pupuk yang diteliti yaitu: P1 = Pupuk cair urin sapi bunting, P2 = Pupuk cair urin sapi bunting + nanas, P3 = Pupuk cair urin sapi bunting + nanas + temulawak, P4 = Pupuk cair urin sapi bunting + nanas + temulawak + mengkudu. Masing – masing jenis pupuk diberikan dalam 3 macam taraf (dosis), yaitu : d1 = dosis pupuk cair 8 ml/rumpun/defoliasi (240 L/ha/defoliasi), d2 = dosis pupuk cair 24 ml/rumpun/defoliasi (720 L/ha/defoliasi), d3 = dosis pupuk cair 72 ml/rumpun/defoliasi (2160 L/ha/defoliasi). Hasil analisis variansi menunjukan perlakuan jenis dan dosis pupuk tidak berpengaruh nyata (P > 0,05) terhadap jumlah daun dan diameter batang rumput gajah pada defoliasi kedua. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa level pupuk cair urin sapi bunting yang disuplementasi herbal dan jenis pupuk belum mampu meningkatkan jumlah daun dan diameter batang rumput gajah pada defoliasi kedua.

The research aimed to study the level of liquid fertilizer of pregnant cow urine supplemented with herbal on the number of leaves and stem diameter of elephant grass at second defoliation. The materials used were elephant grass, granule organic fertilizer, pregnant cow urine supplemented with herbals, hoes, sickles, measuring tools, calculators and pencils. The research used exsperimental method. The study design was Nested design ( grouped ) with 12 treatments and 3 replications. There were 4 types of fertilizers being studied, namely: P1= liquid fertilizer made of pregnant cow urine, P2= liquid fertilizer made of pregnant cow’s urine + pineapple, P3= liquid fertilizer made of pregnant cows’ urine + pineapple + ginger, P4= liquid fertilizer made of pregnant cows’ urine + pineapple + ginger + noni (Morinda citrifolia). Each fertilizer was given in three kinds of levels (dose) . i.e.: d1 = liquid fertilizer dose of 8 ml/bunch/ defoliation (240 L/ha/defoliation), d2 = liquid fertilizer dose of 24 ml/bunch/defoliation (720 L/ha/ defoliation), d3 = liquid fertilizer dose of 72 ml/bunch/defoliation (2160 L/ha/defoliation). The results of analysis of variance showed, there was no significant differences (P > 0.05) of the number of leaves and stem diameter of elephant grass at second defoliation. Based on the results of analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the level of liquid fertilizer of pregnant cow urine supplemented with herbals and the types of fertilizers in this study are not able to increase the number of leaves and stem diameter of elephant grass at second defoliation.
