Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum ayam Lokal jantan terhadap konversi pakan dan Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC). Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam Sentul jantan umur delapan minggu sebanyak 60 ekor. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimental in vivo dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diuji adalah penggunaan sinbiotik terdiri atas R0 (tanpa sinbiotik), R1 (penggunaan sinbiotik 2%), R2 (penggunaan sinbiotik 4%), R3 (penggunaan sinbiotik 6%). Peubah yang diukur adalah konversi pakan dan Income Over Feed Cost. Rataan konversi pakan hasil penelitian R0, R1, R2, R3, berturut-turut adalah 6,26, 5,96, 5,91, 4,76. Rataan Income Over Feed Cost R0, R1, R2, R3, berturut-turut adalah Rp. 5.974,57, Rp. 5.443,33, Rp. 6.289,36, Rp. 5.617,28. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum ayam Lokal jantan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konversi pakan dan Income Over Feed Cost. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum ayam Lokal menghasilkan konversi pakan dan Income Over Feed Cost ayam Lokal umur delapan minggu yang relatif sama.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of using sinbiotic in Local roosters’ diet on the feed conversion and the Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC). The materials used were 60 Sentul rooster aging eight week old. This research was conducted by invivo experimental method, using a Completely Randomized Desidn (CRD). The tested treatments were R0 (without sinbiotik), R1 (2% sinbiotik), R2 (4% sinbiotik), and R3 (6% sinbiotik). The research variables were the feed conversion and the Income Over Feed Cost. The average values of the feed conversion were, respectively, 6,26, 5,96, 5,91, 4,76 for R0, R1, R2, R3. The average values of the Income Over Feed Cost were, respectively, Rp. 5.974,57, Rp. 5.443,33, Rp. 6.289,36, Rp. 5.617,28 for R0, R1, R2, R3. The results of the analysis showed that the use of sinbiotic in the diet of Local rooster had no significant (P>0,05) effects on the feed conversion and Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC). The conclusion of this research is that the use of sinbiotik in diet of the eight weeks Local rooster produces a relatively same value of the feed conversion and Income Over Feed Cost
