KADAR SERAT KASAR DAN PROTEIN KASAR BERBAGAI JENIS LIMBAH PERTANIAN UNTUK PAKAN TERNAK YANG DIFERMENTASI MENGGUNAKAN BAKTERI SELULOLITIK YANG DIISOLASI DARI ULAT ALBASIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengevaluasikadar serat kasar dan kadar protein kasar berbagai jenis limbah pertanian untuk pakan ternak yang difermentasi menggunakan bakteri selulolitik yang diisolasi dari ulat albasia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2015 di Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto.Materi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah isolat bakteri selulolitik asal ulat albasia spesies ulat boktor (Xystrocera festiva Pascoe), jerami padi, jerami jagung, jerami kacang tanah, NaOH 1,5 N, H2SO4 0,3 N, Aceton, Aquadest, H2SO4 pekat, Katalisator : dapat digunakan Se atau CuO atau CuSO4 atau 5H2O4 atau HgO, NaOH 40%, Asam borat 2-3%, HCl 0,1 N, Indikator : Methyl red dan BCG (Broom Cresol Green). Peralatan yang digunakan yaitu Autoclave, Labu erlenmeyer 250 ml, Cawan porselin, Kertas saring Whatman no.41, Corong tegak, Pendingin tegak, Desikator, Oven, Tanur, Tang penjepit, Alat pemanas bunsen, Pompa vacum, Timbangan analitik, Kompor listrik, Labu kjeldahl, Destilator, Labu Erlenmeyer 125 ml, Mikro buret, dan Pipet tetes 10 ml.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah experimen dengan Pola Tersarang (Nested Classification) sebagai grup (F) yaitu F0 = tanpa fermentasi dan F1 = fermentasi, sebagai sub grup (R) yaitu R1 = jerami padi, R2 = jerami jagung dan R3 = jerami kacang tanah serta ulangan sebanyak 4 kali. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu R1 = jerami padi tanpa fermentasi,R2 = jerami jagung tanpa fermentasi,R3 = jerami kacang tanah tanpa fermentasi, R4 = jerami padi + 10% fermentasi bakteri selulolitik, R5 = jerami jagung + 10% fermentasi bakteri selulolitik, R6 = jerami kacang tanah + 10% fermentasi bakteri selulolitik. Peubah yang diamati adalah kadar serat kasar dan kadar protein kasar.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis variansi dan apabila berpengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT).Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa fermentasi menggunakan bakteri selulolitik yang diisolasi dari ulat albasia berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kadar serat kasar dan kadar protein kasar jerami padi, jerami jagung, dan jerami kacang tanah. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian bahwa kadar serat kasar maupun protein kasar jerami padi, jerami jagung, dan jerami kacang tanah yang difermentasi menggunakan bakteri selulolitik yang diisolasi dari ulat albasia relatif sama.

This research aimed to evaluate the levels of crude fiber and crude protein of various types of fermented agricultural wastes using cellulolytic bacteria isolated from albasia for animal feed. This research was conducted from 14 December until 19 December 2015 in December 2015 in the Laboratory of Nutrition and Forage, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The materials used were cellulolytic bacteria isolates from albasia worm of boktor worm species (Xystrocerafestiva Pascoe), rice straw, corn straw, ground peanuts, NaOH 1,5 N, H2SO4 0,3 N, Aceton, Aquadest, concentrated H2SO4, catalyst: can be used Se or CuO or CuSO4 or 5H2O4 or HgO, NaOH 40%, 2-3% boric acid, HCl 0,1 N, Indicators: Methyl red and BCG (Broom Cresol Green). The equipment used were Autoclave, 250 ml Erlenmeyer flask, Porcelain cup, Whatman filter paper No. 41, Upright funnel, Upright cooler, Desiccators, Oven, Furnaces, Clamper, Bunsen heating tool, Vacuum pumps, Analytic scales, Electric stove, Kjeldahl flask, Destilator, 125 ml Erlenmeyer flask, Micro- burette, and Pipette drops 10 ml. The method used in this research was experiments with Nested Pattern Design (Nested Classification) as a group was (F) F0 = unfermented and F1 = fermentated, as a sub-group was (R) R1 = rice straw, R2 = corn straw and R3 = ground peanut straw with 4 times repetitions. The treatments given were R1 = unfermented rice straw, R2 = unfermented corn straw, R3 = unfermented ground peanuts straw, R4 = rice straw + 10% cellulolytic bacteria fermentation, R5 = corn straw + 10% cellulolytic bacteria fermentation, R6 = ground peanuts + 10% cellulolytic bacterial fermentation. Variables measured were crude fiber level and crude protein level. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and if it was a significant effect, it would be followed by least significant difference test (LSD). The results showed that the fermentation using cellulolytic bacteria isolated from albasia worm does not have any significant effect (P>0.05) on the crude fiber level and crude protein level in rice straw, corn straw and ground peanuts. The conclusion of the research shows, the crude fiber level of rice straw and crude protein level of fermented, corn straw and ground peanuts using cellulolytic bacteria isolated from albasia worm are relatively the same.
