Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang “ Efektivitas Kinerja Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Dalam Penataan, Pembinaan dan Pengawasan PKL (Studi Tentang PKL di Jalan Gatot Subroto Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur). Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi efektivitas kinerja Polisi Pamong Praja sebagai perangkat pemerintah daerah dengan tugas pokok menegakkan Peraturan Daerah, menyelenggarakan ketertiban umum dan ketentraman masyarakat salah satunya dalam hal penataan, pembinaan dan pengawasan pedagang kaki lima (PKL). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan analisis kinerja Satpol PP dalam penataan, pembinaan dan pengawasan  PKL di Jalan Gatot Subroto Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Jalan Gatot Subroto Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitaif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan tupoksi dalam penataan, pembinaan dan pengawasan PKL, optimalisasi pelayanan dan koordinasi, kemampuan organisasi dalam melayani kebutuhan masyarakat dan penyelesaian program kerja, serta peran dan tanggung jawab, kebijakan dan ketaatan pada norma masih belum maksimal.

This study reviews "Effectiveness Performance Municipal Police Units In Planning, Development and Supervision of street vendors (PKL Studies at Jalan Gatot Subroto Purwokerto Timur sub-district). The background of this research the effectiveness of the performance of the Police Civil Service as the regional government with the principal task of enforcing the Local Regulation, organizing public order and peace of the community one of them in terms of regulation, guidance and supervision of street vendors (PKL). The purpose of this study is to describe the performance analysis of municipal police in the structuring, development and supervision of street vendors in Jalan Gatot Subroto Eastern District of Purwokerto. The research location is at Jalan Gatot Subroto Eastern District of Purwokerto. While the methods used is Qualitative methods. The results showed that the implementation of the duties in the structuring, development and supervision of street vendors, optimizing service and coordination, the organization's ability to serve the needs of society and the completion of the work program, as well as roles and responsibilities, policies and adherence to norms are still not optimal.
