Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk:  (1) menentukan kelas kemampuan lahan kering di Kecamatan Sirampog, Kabupaten Brebes. (2) mengetahui faktor pembatas yang mempengaruhi kemampuan lahan kering Kecamatan Sirampog, Kabupaten Brebes. (3) memberikan arahan pertanian berkelanjutan di Kecamatan Sirampog Kabupaten Brebes. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode survey berdasarkan Satuan Lahan Homogen (SLH). Variabel yang diamati meliputi lereng permukaan, drainase, tekstur tanah, kedalaman efektif, batuan permukaan, erosi dan ancaman banjir. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: wilayah penelitian dapat dikelompokkan menjadi 5 kelas kemampuan lahan yaitu kelas I, kelas II, kelas III, kelas IV, dan kelas VII Kelas kemampuan lahan I meliputi Desa Wanareja, Desa Dawuhan, Desa Igirklanceng, Desa Kaliloka, Desa Plompong dan Desa Mlayang. Desa Wanareja termasuk kelas kemampuan lahan II. Kelas kemampuan lahan III meliputi Desa Sridadi dan Desa Buniwah. Kelas kemampuan lahan IV meliputi Desa Plompong. Kelas kemampuan lahan VII meliputi Desa Sridadi.

The purpose of this research are: (1) determine the land capability class on dry land the District Sirampog, Brebes. (2) determine the limiting factors that affect the ability of the District land Sirampog, Brebes. (3) planning of sustainable agriculture in Sub Sirampog Brebes. The method of this survey is based Land Force Homogeneous (SLH). Variables that got observed were surface slope, drainage, soil texture, effective depth, surface rocks, erosion and the threat of flooding. The results showed that the area of research can be grouped into 5 of class land capability that is class I, class II, class III, class IV and Class VII. Land capability class I includes Wanareja Village, Dawuhan Village, Igirklanceng Village, Kaliloka Village, Plompong Village and Mlayang Village. Land capability vlass II including Wanareja Village. Land capability class III includes the Sridadi Village and Buniwah Village. Land capability class IV including Plompong Village. Land capabilit class VII inculding Sridadi Village.
