Purwokerto merupakan Ibukota Kabupaten Banyumas yang memiliki beberapa tata guna lahan sebagai pusat pendidikan tinggi kesehatan. Pendidikan tinggi tersebut tentu memiliki bangkitan atau tarikan yang besar karena jumlah mahasiswa dan pegawai yang cukup besar sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan transportasi. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi bangkitan dan tarikan pergerakan pada pusat pendidikan serta untuk memodelkan besarnya bangkitan dan tarikan pergerakan pada pusat pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menghitung jumlah pergerakan yang datang ke pusat perbelanjaan, dan survey wawancara terhadap mahasiswa yang kemudian digunkan sebagai variabel terikat dan variabel bebas dalam analisis. Analisis data menggunakan metode step-wise.Pemodelan bangkitan pergerakan menggunakan metode step-wise tipe -1 diperoleh hasil untuk pusat pendidikan ilmu kesehatan di Purwokerto adalah Y = 61,6572 + 16,0154 X1 + 12,3246 X2 dengan nilai R2 = 0,9625; X1 adalah pendapatan; dan X2 adalah kepemilikan kendaraan. Sedangkan pemodelan bangkitan pergerakan menggunakan metode step-wise tipe -2 diperoleh untuk pusat pendidikan ilmu kesehatan di Purwokerto adalah Y = 72,2134 + 28,0577 X5 dengan nilai R2 = 0,9497; X5 adalah waktu tempuh.Pemodelan tarikan pergerakan menggunakan metode step-wise tipe -1 untuk pusat pendidikan ilmu kesehatan di Purwokerto adalah Y = 73,7587 + 63,559 X3 dengan nilai R2 = 0,9759;  X3 adalah kualitas dosen. Sedangkan metode step-wise tipe -2 untuk pusat pendidikan ilmu kesehatan di Purwokerto adalah Y = 64,0414 + 107,4789 X4 dengan nilai R2 = 0,9508;  X4 adalah jumlah dosen/karyawan. Model alternatif lain adalah, untuk step-wise tipe 1 Y = 4,8494   + 7,7807 X3 dengan nilai R2 = 0,9899; X3 = kualitas dosen. Sedangkan step-wise tipe 2 adalah Y = 4,7591   + 4,4302 X3 + 2,1085 X8 dengan R2 = 0,9954; X3 adalah kualitas dosen dan X8 adalah akreditasi.

Purwokerto is the capital of Banyumas regency which have some land use for school of hygiene. That school of hygiene certainly have huge trip production and trip attraction because huge amount of student and official and potentially cause some problem of transportation. Because of that, this study is aimed to analyze the affecting factors and to model the magnitude of trip production modelling and trip attraction of the school of hygiene.Moreover, the research is done by counting the number of vehicle which come to the school of hygiene and interviews survey of the student that are used as the dependent and independet variable in the analysis. Then the data analysys using step–wise method.Based on the first type of  step–wise method, the best production modelling in the school of hygiene in Purwokerto is Y = 61.6572 + 16.0154 X1 + 12.3246 X2  with grade R2 = 0.9625; X1 as the revenue per month and  X2 as vehicle ownership while the best production modeling based on the second type is Y = 72.2134 + 28.0577 X5 with grade R2 = 0.9497; X5 as the needed time to reach from home to school of hygiene. Indeed, the best attraction based on the first type of step–wise method for the school of hygiene in Purwokerto is Y = 73.7587 + 63.559 X3 with grade R2 = 0.9759; X3 as quality of lecturer. While the best atraction modeling based on the second type is Y = 64.0414 + 107.4789 X4 with grade R2 =0.9508; X4 as amount of lecturer and official. Another alternative best attraction based on the first type of step–wise method for the school of hygiene in Purwokerto is Y = 4.8494   + 7.7807 X3 with grade R2 = 0.9899; X3 as quality of lecturer. While the best atraction modeling based on the second type is Y = 4.7591   + 4.4302 X3 + 2.1085 X8 with grade R2 =0.9954; X3 as quality of lecturer; X8 as accreditation.
