HUBUNGAN BOBOT POTONG DENGAN BOBOT NON KARKAS DALAM DAN NON KARKAS LUAR DOMBA EKOR TIPIS JANTAN

Penelitian yang dilaksanakan di tempat pemotongan hewan milik Bapak Amin dan milik Bapak H. Nursoleh, Bumiayu, pada 12 Desember 2015 sampai dengan 7 Januari 2016 ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara bobot potong dengan bobot non karkas dalam dan non karkas luar domba ekor tipis jantan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dan percobaan lapang dengan menggunakan sampel 60 ekor domba ekor tipis jantan. Analisis regresi digunakan untuk olah data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antarabobot potong dengan bobot non karkas dalam diperoleh Y= 0,159+0,109X dan r= 0,95 dengan r2= 0,89; bobot potong dengan bobot non karkas luar diperoleh Y= -1,921+0,282X dan r= 0,91 dengan r2= 0,83. Disimpulkan bahwa bobot potong berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap bobot non karkas dalam dan non karkas luar.

This research, which had been conducted at Mr. Amin’s and Mr. H. Nur Soleh‘s slaughter houses, Bumiayu, from December 12th, 2015 toJanuary 7th, 2016, aimed to determine the relationship between the slaughter weight and the internal and external non-carcass weight of male thin-tail sheep. The method was a survey method and field trials using60male thin-tail sheep as the samples. Data were analysed by using a regresion analysis.The results showed that the relationship between the slaughter weight and theinternal non-carcass weight was Y= 0,159+0,109X and r= 0,95 with r2= 0,89, while that between the slaughter weight and the external non-carcass weight was Y= -1,921+0,282X and r= 0,91 with r2= 0,83. It could be concluded, therefore, that the slaughter weight had asignificant effect (P<0,01) on the internal and external non-carcass weight.
