PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN BERBAGAI JENIS PREBIOTIK TERHADAP KONSUMSI PROTEIN DAN BOBOT PROTEIN DAGING DADA ITIK TEGAL JANTAN UMUR DUA BULAN

Penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 Mei 2015 sampai 10 Juni 2015 di Selo Arum Farm, Sokaraja, ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan prebiotik (FOS (frcutoologoscaride), GOS (galactooligosacaride) dan Inulin) dalam pakan terhadap konsumsi protein dan bobot protein daging dada itik Tegal jantan umur 2 bulan. Materi yang digunakan adalah 100 ekor itik Tegal jantan umur 2 bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dan perlakuannya adalah Pakan basal (R0), pakan basal +0,2 % FOS (R1), pakan basal +0,2% GOS (R2) dan pakan basal +0,2% Inulin (R3). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil analisis variansi menujukkan bahwa perlakuan penggunaan prebiotik (FOS, GOS dan Inulin) dalam pakan itik Tegal jantan umur 2 bulan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi protein dan bobot protein daging dada. Rataan hasil konsumsi protein adalah 18,91 g/ekor/hari (R 0); 19,23 g (R 1); 18,84 g (R 2); 18,72 g (R 3); 18,83 g) dan rataan hasil bobot protein daging dada adalah 14,02 g (R 0); 13,49 g (R 1); 13,96 g (R 2); 12,59 g (R 3); 16,09 g. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan prebiotik FOS, GOS, dan Inulin dalam ransum itik Tegal jantan umur 2 bulan yang menghasilkan konsumsi protein dan bobot protein daging dada yang relativ sama.

This study aimed to determine the effects of the usage of prebiotic FOS, GOS, and inulin in feed on the protein consumption and protein mass of breast of male Tegal ducks. The material used were 100 four-week-old male Tegal ducks (Anas plathyrhincos). The research was conducted from May 2nd until June 10th, 2015 at Seloarum Farm and Science and Nutrition Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry,Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The treatments were basal feed (R 0), basal feed + 0.2% FOS (R 1), basal feed + GOS 0.2% (R 2), basal feed + Inulin 0.2% (R 3) which were given twice a day in the morning and afternoon as much as 100 g/ duck/ day and drinking water ad libitum. This research used experimental method, which was designed by using the Complettely Randomized Design (CRD). The parameters measured were the protein consumption and protein mass of breast. The data were analyzed by using the analysis of variances. The results of the analysis showed that the use of prebiotics in the diet did not affect significantly (P>0.05) on the feed consumption and protein mass of breast. The average result of protein consumption was 18,91 g/duck/day (R 0); 19,23 g (R 1); 18,84 g (R 2); 18,72 g (R 3); 18,83 g and the average result of the growth was 14,02 g (R 0); 13,49 g (R 1); 13,96 g (R 2); 12,59 g (R 3); 16,09 g. This research concludes that the addition of the prebiotics in the feed of the ducks yields a relatively equal protein consumption and protein mass of breast.
