Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Peran Sektor Pariwisata Terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah Kabupaten Magelang Tahun 2005-2014”. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (1) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Trend Penerimaan sektor pariwisata Kabupaten Magelang. (2) Untuk mengetahui besarnya Kontribusi penerimaan Sektor Pariwisata terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah Kabupaten Magelang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode ordinary last square (OLS) kuadrat terkecil dan analisis kontribusi. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah time series selama sepuluh tahun yaitu dari 2005-2014.
	Dari hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis trend Penerimaan Sektor Pariwisata dalam tahun-tahun yang akan datang yaitu tahun 2016-2018 menunjukkan Trend positif atau mengalami kenaikan. Walaupun berkontribusi kecil dan berfluktuasi yaitu  kurang lebih dalam kisaran 10% pada tiap tahunnya. Kontribusi terbesar terjadi pada tahun 2010 yaitu sebesar 12,021% namun mengalami penurunan pada tiap tahun selanjutnya dengan kontribusi terkecil pada tahun 2014 yaitu sebesar 8,116%  ini dikarenakan karena naiknya jumlah Pendapatan Asli Daerah Kabupaten Magelang dari sumber pendapatan lainnya.
Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah Pemerintah Kabupaten Magelang melalui Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata menemukan terobosan untuk menarik wisatawan, baik berupa promosi, penambahan obyek wisata baru karena jumlah obyek wisata, retribusi obyek wisata dan jumlah wisatawan terbukti pengaruhnya positif dan signifikan. Serta bekerjasama dengan stakeholder baik pengelola hotel dan pedagang souvenir untuk lebih inovatif dan memiliki kualitas atau daya saing yang lebih baik.

The title of this research is “Analysis of Tourism Sector Role Of Local Revenue Magelang Regency Year 2005-2014” The purpose of the research is to find out: (1) To find out how much Trend Acceptance Magelang regency tourism sector. (2). To determine the amount of revenue contribution of the Tourism Sector Revenue Magelang District. This research is a quantitative descriptive research using ordinary methods last square (OLS) squares and contribution analysis. The data used in this research was time series for ten years from from 2005 to 2014.
From the research results using trend analysis Acceptance of the Tourism Sector in the years to come, namely in 2016-2018 showed a positive trend or increased. Although the contribution of small and fluctuates in the range of approximately 10% in each year. The largest contribution occurred in the year 2010 of 12,021%, but decreased in each subsequent year with the smallest contribution in 2014 amounted to 8.116% that is because due to the rising number of regional revenue Magelang regency of other revenue sources.
	The implications of this research are Magelang District Government through the Department of Culture and Tourism to find a breakthrough to attract tourists, either in the form of promotions, the addition of new tourist attraction because of the amount of tourism, retribution of tourist attraction and the number of tourists proved positive and significant influence. As well as collaboration with stakeholders both hoteliers and souvenir vendors to be more innovative and have a quality or better competitiveness.
