RINGKASAN

Penelitian ini berjudul Hubungan Antara Tingkat Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Dengan Tingkat Pengangguran Di Indonesia Tahun 2000 – 2013.Tujuan penelitian.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan jumlah pengangguran di Indonesia tahun 2000 – 2013.Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi berhubungan signifikan dengan pengangguran di Indonesia.Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan tingkat pengangguran di Indonesia.  Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai r hitung sebesar 0,6579 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,0053 atau lebih kecil dibandingkan nilai alphanya (α =0,05). Artinya naiknya jumlah pengangguran di Indonesia berhubungan dengan meningkatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi.  Dengan demikian hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pertumbuhan dan tingkat pengangguran di Indonesia dapat diterima.
Implikasi dari peneltiian bahwa walaupun di Indonesia jumlah pengangguran berbanding lurus dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi, namun begitu pemerintah melalui dinas terkait seperti departemen tenaga kerja hendaknya memperhatikan dan mengurangi jumlah pengangguran adalah melaksanakan program padat karya, pengembangan wirausaha produktif dan memperbanyak pelaksanaan bursa kerja (job fair) oleh pemerintah dan swasta. Perlu upaya meningkatkan kualitas SDM dengan membangun kompetensi (skill, knowledge, attitude) sehingga tenaga kerja yang memiliki daya saing guna perluasan kesempatan kerja melalui wirausaha mandiri.

SUMMARY

This research is entitled The Relationship Between Economic Growth Rate With Unemployment Rate In Indonesia Year 2000 - 2013. The purpose of the study. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between economic growth and unemployment in Indonesia in 2000 - 2013. The hypothesis is significant economic growth associated with unemployment in Indonesia. The analytical tool used is a product moment correlation.
Based on the results of this study concluded that the rate of economic growth had a significant relationship with the unemployment rate in Indonesia. It can be seen from the value of r calculated at 0.6579 with a significance value of 0.0053 or less than the value of alpha (α = 0.05). It means that the increase in the number of unemployed in Indonesia were associated with increased economic growth. Thus the research hypothesis which states there is a relationship between the growth rate and the unemployment rate in Indonesia can be accepted.
The implications of the research that although in Indonesia the number of unemployed is directly proportional to economic growth, but once the government through relevant agencies such as the labor department should consider and reduce the number of unemployed is to implement labor-intensive programs, the development of entrepreneurial productive and multiply the implementation of the labor market (job fair) by government and private sectors. Necessary efforts to improve the quality of human resources to build competencies (skills, knowledge, attitude) so that the workforce has the competitiveness to the expansion of self-employment through entrepreneurship.
