Keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) adalah keluhan pada bagian-bagian otot skeletal. Data menunjukkan bahwa di Amerika Serikat pada tahun 2014 terdapat lebih dari  600.000 pekerja yang mengalami gangguan muskuloskeletal akibat pekerjaan dan 34% persen diantaranya mengakibatkan tidak bisa bekerja. Penyebab keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) adalah faktor pekerjaan seperti sikap kerja yang tidak aman, gerakan repetitif dan lama kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) pada penjual nasi goreng di wilayah Kampus Unsoed Purwokerto Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 responden. Data didapatkan melalui wawancara kepada responden menggunakan kuesioner dan pengamatan langsung. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu uji korelasi gamma somer’s. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) adalah sikap kerja berdiri (p<0,05) dan gerakan tangan memutar (p<0,05). Disarankan penjual nasi goreng dalam melakukan aktivitasnya tidak berdiri secara statis dan pengulangan gerakan tangan memutar pada saat memasak dikurangi.

Complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the complaints on parts of skeletal muscle. Data show that in the United States in 2014 there were more than 600,000 workers who experience occupational musculoskeletal disorders and 34% percent of which resulted in not able to work. Causes of complaints musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the occupational factors such as unsafe working posture, repetitive movements and duration of work. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors of work-related complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the fried rice sellers in the area Campus Unsoed, North Purwokerto. This type of research used in this study was observational analytic with cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were 32 respondents. Data were obtained through interviews with respondents using questionnaires and direct observations. Data presented in the form of tabulation and to know the relationship standing work position, repetitive movements and duration of work with musculoskeletal disorders complaints on the fried rice sellers use of statistical tests gamma somer’s correlation.The results showed that the factors of work-related complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the standing position (p<0.05) and  twisting hand motion (p<0.05). Suggested fried rice sellers in their activities do not stand statically and repeated twisting hand movements during cooking is reduced.
