DPR sebagai representasi dalam hal ini memiliki hak untuk rekruitmen pejabat publik. Rekruitmen pejabat publik seharusnya bukan hanya sebagai simbol legitimasi, namun juga menjadi suatu tindakan prefentif. Oleh karena itu seharusnya pejabat yang dihasilkan akan Profesional, Jujur, Intelek dan Tidak Korupsi/ berbudi pekerti baik.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kewenangan DPR dalam rekruitmen pejabat publik dan kontribusi kewenangan DPR dalam rekruitmen pejabat publik. Guna mencapai tujuan tersebut maka peneletian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif. Data sekunder yang terkumpul kemudian diolah, disajikan, dan dianalisa secara kualitatif dengan penyajian data teks naratif. 
Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa, kewenangan DPR dalam rekruitmen pejabat publik merupakan fungsi pengawasan DPR yang diatur dalam LAID 1945, Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2014 tentang Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat, Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat, Dewan Perwakilan Daerah, Dan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah, Peraturan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia Nomor 1 Tahun 2014 Tentang Tata Tertib dan Undang-Undang Organik lainnya. Kewenangan DPR dalam rekruitmen pejabat publik merupakan merupakan kewenangan atribusi, yaitu kewenangan yang langsung diatur oleh suatu ketentuan daiam perundang-undangan balk yang dilakukan oleh original legislator. Fungsi kewenangan DPR dalam rekruitmen pejabat publik yaitu sebagai perwakilan persetujuan masyarakat (right to confirm) bagi penyeienggaraan negara. Terdapat tiga jenis pola kewenangan DPR dalam rekruitmen pejabat publik antara lain pengangkatan pejabat publik dengan mekanisme pertimbangan, pengangkatan pejabat publik dengan mekanisme pemilihan, pengangkatan pejabat publik dengan mekanisme persetujuan. Kewenangan DPR Dalam Rekruitmen Pejabat Publik tidak memberikan kontribusi bagi penurunan tingkat korupsi atau kredibilitas calon pejabat publik yang dipilih. Kewenangan DPR Dalam Rekruitmen Pejabat Publik hanya menjadi simbol bahwa masyarakat telah memilih dan berpartisipasi melalui perwakilannya yaitu Anggota DPR.

Parliament as the representation in this case have a right to the recruitment of public officials. Recruitment of public officials should not only as a symbol of legitimacy, but also be a preventive action. Therefore, officials should be generated Professional, Honest, Intellect and not corruption / good virtuous character. This study aims to determine the authority of the House of Representatives in the recruitment of public officials and the contribution of the authority of Parliament in the recruitment of public officials. In order to achieve these objectives, the peneletian is done by using a normative juridical approach. Secondary data were collected and then processed, presented and analyzed qualitatively with the presentation of narrative text data.
The study states that, the authority of the House of Representatives in the recruitment of public officials is the oversight function of Parliament who is set in Laid 1945, Law No. 17 of 2014 of the People's Consultative Assembly, the House of Representatives, Regional Representatives Council, and the Regional Representatives Council, Council Regulation Representatives the people of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 Year 2014 About the Rules and other Organic Law. The authority of the House of Representatives in the recruitment of public officials is an attribution authority, that authority directly regulated by a statutory provision Emitter balk performed by the original legislator. Parliament as the representation authority functions in the recruitment of public officials that is as representative of the community approval (right to confirm) for penyeienggaraan state. There are three types of patterns of authority of the House of Representatives in the recruitment of public officials, among others, the appointment of public officials with the mechanism of consideration, the appointment of public officials by the selection mechanism, the appointment of public officials with the approval mechanism. The authority of Parliament In Recruitment Public Officials are not contributing to a decrease in the level of corruption or credibility of the chosen candidate for public office. The authority of Parliament In Public Official Recruitment only a symbol that society has chosen and to participate through their representatives, namely Member of Parliament.
