Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Status Sosial Ekonomi Terhadap Partisipasi Politik Masyarakat Di Kelurahan Jatimulya Kota Depok Pada Pemilihan Umum Presiden dan Wakil Presiden Tahun 2014”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh status sosial ekonomi terhadap tingkat partisipasi politik masyarakat pada pemilihan umum presiden dan wakil presiden tahun 2014 di Kelurahan Jatimulya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Adapun jenis data terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari hasil jawaban kuesioner yang disebar ke responden, sedang data sekunder dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari sumber-sumber yang dapat dipercaya seperti Kecamatan Cilodong, Kelurahan Jatimulya, KPUD Kota Depok. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang terdaftar dalam pemilih tetap pemilu presiden dan Wakil presiden 2014. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 98 masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Metode kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data variabel Status Sosial Ekonomi dan Partisipasi Politik, sedangkan studi pustaka bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data pendukung dari sumber terpercaya. Memberikan gambaran menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji validitas menggunakan analisis Product Moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Uji persyarat analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas. Untuk pengukuran variabel menggunakan skala likert, untuk mentrasnformasikan data ordinal menjadi interval menggunakan Metode Suksesif Interval (MSI), untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi. Tingkat signifikansi hasil analisis ditentukan sebesar 5%.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Status Sosial Ekonomi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Partisipasi Politik yang ditunjukkan dengan persamaan Y = 5.982 + 0.305X dengan koefisien korelasi = 0.000, koefisien determinasi = 0.243 dengan t hitung sebesar 5.556 dan t tabel 1.660. F hitung sebesar 30.868 dan F tabel sebesar 3.94. Sumbangan efektif pada variabel Status Sosial Ekonomi sebesar 24.3%.

This research entitled the influence of socioeconomic status against political participation of the community in Jatimulya urban village Depok City at elections president and vice president of the year 2014. This research aims to understand the influence of socioeconomic status against political participation of the community at elections president and vice president of the year 2014 in Jatimulya urban Village.
This research using quantitative methods. The type of data consists of primary and secondary data from the data. The primary data in this research was obtained from the results of the answer a questionnaire that spread to respondents, in this research is of secondary data obtained from credible sources such as Cilodong sub-district, Jatimulya urban village, KPUD Depok City. In this research is the sample of people enrolled in general election voters remain president and vice president of the 2014. The total sample as many as 98 people. Data collection with a method of the questionnaire and conducted the study of literature. A method of variable the questionnaire used to collect data on economic and social status of political participation, while the literature study aims to collect data supporters of a reliable source. Gives a picture using analysis descriptive, test the validity of using analysis product moment and the use of alpha cronbach reliability. Persyarat test data analysis using a test of normality. To the measurement of variable use likert scale, the ordinal of being the interval mentrasnformasikan to data using a (msi) metodh suksesif intervals, for testing the hypothesis of the use of regression analysis. The level of significance of the analysis set at 5 percent.
Based on the results of research obtained the conclusion that socioeconomic status it has some positive effects and significantly to political participation which has indicated by an equation y = 5.982 + 0.305x with a correlation coefficient = 0.000, the coefficients determined = 0.243 with t count as much as 5.556 and t table 1.660.F count as much as 30.868 and f table 3.94. as much as Effective contributions on the variables of social status recorded at 24.3 %.
