FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN DIABETES SELF MANAGEMENT PADA PASIEN DM TIPE 2 DI WILAYAH KERJA 
PUSKESMAS 1 KEMBARAN

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang: Diabetes mellitus berdampak terhadap perubahan pola hidup  dan mempengaruhi perilaku pengelolaan diri. Jika tidak terkontrol dapat menimbulkan komplikasi fisik, psikologis, sosial, maupun ekonomi. Dalam rangka meminimalisir komplikasi tersebut dibutuhkan tindakan pengelolaan dengan mematuhi Diabetes Self Management (DSM). Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan DSM meliputi karakteristik demografi, self efficacy, depresi, dan dukungan keluarga. 
Tujuan: Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan DSM di wilayah kerja Puskesmas 1 Kembaran. 
Metode: Desain cross sectional dengan teknik purposive sampling didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 responden. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner DSMQ, Self-Efficacy scale (DMSES), BDI dan Hensarling Diabetes Family Support Scale (HDFSS) dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-square. 
Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil analisis univariat untuk karakteristik responden (usia 41,7% pralansia sampai lansia; jenis kelamin 70% perempuan, pendidikan 90% dasar; pekerjaan 61,7% tidak bekerja; penghasilan 55% rendah); self efficacy 68,3% baik; depresi 46,7% tidak depresi; dukungan keluarga 85% suportif; DSM 61,7% patuh. Sedangkan analisis bivariat untuk karakteristik responden menunjukkan nilai p>0,05 (usia p = 0,679; jenis kelamin = 0,224, pendidikan = 0,791; pekerjaan = 0,184; penghasilan = 0,157); self efficacy = 0,007; depresi = 0,025; dukungan keluarga p = 0,010 (p<0,05).
Kesimpulan: Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan DSM yaitu self efficacy, depresi dan dukungan keluarga. Sedangkan untuk karakteristik responden tidak berhubungan. Sarannya dengan memaksimalkan peran untuk memberikan dukungan, memotivasi, apresiasi secara langsung untuk mematuhi DSM.

ABSTRACT

Background: Diabetes mellitus affects lifestyle changes and influence the behavior of self-management. If not controlled can lead to physical complications, psychological, social, and economic. In order to minimize the complications of management action is required to comply with the Diabetes Self Management (DSM). There are several factors that affect the implementation of the DSM include demographic characteristics, self-efficacy, depression, and family support.
Objective: To determine the factors associated with DSM in Kembaran 1Community health center.
Methods: cross sectional design with a purposive sampling technique obtained a total sample of 60 respondents. Retrieving data using questionnaires DSMQ, Self-Efficacy Scale (DMSES), BDI and Hensarling Diabetes Family Support Scale (HDFSS) and analyzed using Chi-square test.
Results: Based on the univariate analysis for the characteristics of the respondents (41,7% mature until for elderly; sex 70% women, 90% of elementary education; 61,7% did’t work; earnings 55% lower); 68,3% good self efficacy; depression 46,7% not depression; family encouagement 85% supportive; DSM 61,7% adherent. While bivariate analysis to characteristics of respondents indicated value of p> 0,05 (p age = 0,679; sex = 0,224, education = 0,791; job = 0,184; income = 0,157); self efficacy = 0,007; depression = 0,025; family encouagement p = 0,010 (p <0,05).
Conclusions: Factors that relating to dsm that is self efficacy, depression and family encouragement. While for characteristics of respondents are not in charge. His advice to maximize the role of to provide support, motivate, directly to obey dsm appreciation.
