Penelitian ini berjudul “Faktor - Faktor Yang Memengaruhi Produksi Padi Di Desa Gambarsari Kecamatan Kebasen Kabupaten Banyumas Musim Tanam Oktober - Maret 2013/2014”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari faktor – faktor produksi seperti luas lahan, bibit, pupuk, pestisida dan tenaga kerja terhadap hasil produksi tanaman padi, khususnya di Desa Gambarsari, Kecamatan Kebasen, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini juga untuk mengetahui apakah skala produksi usaha tani padi sudah berada dalam skala produksi yang naik, serta untuk mengetahui apakah faktor – faktor usaha tani padi seperti luas lahan, bibit, pupuk, pestisida dan luas lahan sudah mencapai tingkat efisiensi.
Hasil dari analisis menunjukan bahwa faktor - faktor produksi seperti: luas lahan, bibit, pupuk, pestisida berpengaruh positif tehadap hasil produksi tanaman padi, sedangkan tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil produksi tanaman padi. Dari penjumlahan elastisitas faktor – faktor produksi diperoleh nilai sebesar 1,031 hal ini menunjukan bahwa usaha tani padi di Desa Gambarsari Kecamatan Kebasen berada pada kondisi Increasing Return to Scale artinya apabila terjadi
penambahan faktor produksi sebesar 1% maka akan menaikan output sebesar 1,031persen dan usaha tani padi layak untuk dikembangkan. Penggunaan faktor produksi luas lahan, bibit, pupuk, pestisida secara ekonomis tidak mencapai efisien, karena nilai NPM masih kurang dari satu dari masing - masing variabel independen.

This study entitled "Factors Affecting Rice Production in Gambarsari village Kebasen District Banyumas Regency in Planting Season from October to March 2013/2014". The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of production factors such as land, seed, fertilizer, pesticides and labor on rice production, particularly in Gambarsari village, Kebasen District, Banyumas. This study is also determining whether the rice farming production scale is already in the rising scale products, as well as to determine whether land, seed, fertilizer, pesticide and land are in the level of efficient.
Results of the analysis show that the production factors such as land, seed, fertilizer, pesticides give positive influence on rice production, while labor does not affect the rice production. The sum elasticity factor is 1.031 and this shows that rice farming in Gambarsari village Kebasen District is in Increasing Return to Scale condition which means that if there is an additional production factor by 1% then it will increase output by 1,031 percent and rice farming is feasible to develop. Production factor usage such as land, seed, fertilizer, pesticides have not yet reached economically efficient, because the value of each NPM still less than one.
