HUBUNGAN ANTARA ASUPAN ENERGI DAN PROTEIN DENGAN DAYA TAHAN KARDIORESPIRASI ATLET SEPAKBOLA PERSIBAS

Latar Belakang. Prestasi sepakbola Indonesia mengalami penurunan setiap tahun, ditentukan oleh performa atlet. Daya tahan kardiorespirasi (VO2 Maks) menggambarkan performa seseorang dan dipengaruhi oleh asupan energi dan protein. Tujuan. Mengetahui hubungan antara asupan energi dan protein dengan VO2 Maks pada atlet sepakbola Persatuan Sepakbola Banyumas (PERSIBAS). Metode. Penelitian ini dilakukan di stadion GOR Satria Purwokerto pada bulan Juli 2015. Sebanyak 15 responden diambil secara purposive sampling dari klub PERSIBAS. Data VO2 Maks diukur menggunakan multistage fitness test, data asupan energi dan protein diukur dengan recall makanan 1x24 jam sebanyak 3 kali. Data dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS 11,5. Analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif univariat dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi spearman. Hasil. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar (86.7%) status gizi responden normal. Rerata hasil asupan energi responden adalah 78.63+ 13.26% dan rata-rata asupan protein yaitu 64.25+15.26% dari kebutuhan gizi. Sebagian besar (73.3%) responden memiliki nilai VO2 Maks baik. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dengan korelasi yang kuat dan positif antara asupan energi (p=0.01, r=0.64) dengan VO2 Maks, tetapi tidak adanya hubungan antara asupan protein (p=0.52, r=0.18) dengan nilai VO2 Maks responden. Kesimpulan. Adanya hubungan antara asupan energi dengan daya tahan kardiorespirasi, semakin tinggi asupan energi atlet maka nilai VO2 Maks semakin baik. Sedangkan, asupan protein tidak memiliki hubungan dengan daya tahan kardiorespirasi dikarenakan ada faktor lain ikut berpengaruh yaitu latihan dan status gizi.

CORRELATION BETWEEN ENERGY INTAKE AND PROTEIN TOWARDS RESISTANCE CARDIORESPIRATORY AGAINST FOOTBALL ATHLETES OF PERSIBAS Background: Indonesian football achievements has decreased every year, it is determined by the performance of athletes. Cardiorespiratory endurance (VO2 Max) describe the performance of a person and is affected by the intake of energy and protein. Aim: Knowing the correlation between energy and protein intake with the athletes VO2 Max Banyumas football Football Association (PERSIBAS). Methods: This research was conducted in the stadium of Satria Sport Center Purwokerto in July 2015. A total of 15 respondents taken by purposive sampling of PERSIBAS club. Data VO2 Max is measured using a multistage fitness test, the data of energy and protein intake were measured with 1x24 hour food recall as many as three times. Data were analyzed using SPSS 11.5. Data analysis included descriptive analysis of univariate and bivariate analysis using Spearman correlation test. Results: Research shows that the majority (86.7%) of respondents normal nutritional status. The mean energy intake results respondent is 78.63+ 13:26% and the average intake of protein is 64.25 + 15:26% of nutritional needs. Most (73.3%) of respondents have VO2 max values well. There is a significant relationship with a strong and positive correlation between energy intake (p = 0:01, r = 0.64) with a VO2 Max, but no relationship between protein intake (p = 0:52, r = 0.18) with a VO2 max value of the respondent. Conclusion: The relationship between energy intake with cardiorespiratory endurance, the higher the energy intake of athletes the value of VO2 Max is getting better. Meanwhile, protein intake has no relationship with cardiorespiratory endurance because there are other factors which also affected the position of the player and nutritional status.
