PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK HAYATI MIKORIZA BERAGENSIA Bacillus sp. B46 DAN PENGURANGAN DOSIS ANJURAN PUPUK ZA- SP36-KCL TERHADAP BEBERAPA SIFAT FISIK TANAH ULTISOL, PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL CABAI MERAH

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh pemberian pupuk hayati mikoriza beragensia Bacillus subtilis B46 dalam mengurangi pemakaian dosis pupuk N-P-K terhadap perbaikan tanah Ultisol dan produksi cabai merah. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan Ultisol Desa Kaliori, Kecamatan Kalibagor, Kabupaten Banyumas, dan di Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2011 sampai dengan Maret 2012. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 7 perlakuan, setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Perlakuan tersebut adalah H1(pemberian pupuk hayati mikoriza-Bacillus sp. B46 4 gram pertanaman), H2(pemberian pupuk hayati mikoriza-Bacillus sp. B46 6 gram pertanaman), K100C(pemberian pupuk kandang dosis 20 ton/ha dan pemberian pupuk kimia ZA-SP36-KCl sebanyak 100% dosis anjuran), K50(pemberian pupuk ZA-SP36-KCl sebanyak 50% dosis anjuran), K75(pemberian pupuk ZA-SP36-KCl sebanyak 75% dosis anjuran), K100(pemberian pupuk ZA-SP36-KCl sebanyak 100% dosis anjuran). Variabel yang diamati yaitu Bobot jenis isi, Bobot jenis partikel, Batas cair, Batas lekat, Batas gulung, Batas berubah warna, Indeks plastisitas, Jangka Olah, Porositas tanah, dan Persediaan Air Maksimum, Bobot kering akar, Bobot kering tanaman, Tinggi tanaman, Panjang akar terpanjang, Bobot buah perpetak efektif dan bobot buah sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) pemberian pupuk hayati mikoriza beragensia Bacillus subtilis B46 dengan pengurangan dosis pupuk sintetis 50% sampai dengan 70% mampu memperbaiki sifat fisik tanah, 2) Pemberian pupuk hayati mikoriza beragensi Bacillus subtilis B46 dengan pengurangan dosis pupuk sintetis 50% mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai.

The object of the research determine the application of mycorhiza biofertilizer based on Bacillus subtilis B46 in reduced N-P-K fertilizer usage towards soil improvement in Ultisol and chili yield. The experiments were conducted Kaliori Village, Kalibagor district, Banyumas Regency and at Laboratory of Soil Science, Agriculture Faculty, Jenderal Soedirman University. The research was conducted from June 2011 until March 2012. Experimental design used in this study is a randomized block design (RBD) with seven treatments and four replications. The seven treatments tested were H1 (application of mycorhiza biofertilizer based on Bacillus subtilis B46 in 4 g/crop), H2 (application of mycorhiza biofertilizer based on Bacillus subtilis B46 in 6 g/crop), K100C (application of organic fertilizer in 20 ton/ha dosage and chemical fertilizer ZA-SP36-KCl in 100%), K50(application of chemical fertilizer ZA-SP36-KCl in 50%), K75(application of chemical fertilizer ZA-SP36-KCl in 75%), K100(application of chemical fertilizer ZA-SP36-KCl in 100%). The observed variable were bulk density, particle density, liquid limit, sticky limit, roll Limit, change color limit, plasticity index, soil porosity, and the water supply maximum, dry weight of roots, dry weight of plants, plant height, the longest root length, weight of fruits and fruit weight of effective square samples. The research results showed that 1) giving of mycorhiza biofertilizer based on Bacillus subtilis B46 with reduced synthetic fertilizer usage 50% to 70% can improve soil physical character. 2) giving of biofertilizer based on Bacillus subtilis B46 with 50% reduced synthetic fertilizer usage give similar influence towards chili yield with 100% synthetic fertilizer usage.
