SERANGAN HAMA UTAMA DAN MUSUH ALAMINYA PADA DUA VARIETAS DALAM RAKITAN BUDIDAYA PADI ORGANIK BERBASIS PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR DAN PESTISIDA NABATI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) Jenis hama utama padi dan musuh alami yang dominan dalam rakitan budidaya padi secara organik berbasis POC dan pestisida nabati,2) Serangan hama utama padi dalam rakitan budidaya padi secara organik berbasis POC dan pestisida nabati,3) Produktivitas dua varietas padi dalam budidaya secara organik berbasis POC dan pestisida nabati. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Randegan, Kecamatan Kebasen, Kabupaten Banyumas, sejak bulan April sampai Agustus 2014. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Pola Tersarang dengan 2 perlakuan dan 16 kali ulangan. Sebagai perlakuan, yaitu varietas (Sintanur dan Mentik wangi). Variabel pengamatan meliputi jenis hama utama dan intensitas hama utama, populasi musuh alami, dan variabel agronomi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Jenis hama utama padi meliputi keong mas, (Pomacea caniliculata L.) wereng batang padi coklat (Nilaparvarta lugens Stal.), dan walang sangit (Lepticoryxa acuta) masing masing memiliki rerata populasi dengan selisih sebesar 2,46; 5,32; dan 2,08.Jenis musuh alami yang dominan selama penilitian yaitu, Peaderus sp. (tomcat) dan Tetragnatha sp. (laba-laba) . Intensitas serangan keong mas dan walang sangit pada perlakuan varietas sintanur lebih tinggi dibandingkan mentik wangi dengan selisih sebesar 1,28% dan 2,29%, intensitas wereng batang padi coklat pada varietas sintanur lebih rendah dibandingkan varietas mentik wangi dengan selisih sebesar 12,26%. Produksivitas varietas sintanur (5,22 ton/ha GKG) lebih tinggi dibandingkan varietas mentik wangi (4,43 ton/ha GKG) dalam rakitan budidaya padi secara organik berbasis POC dan pestisida nabati.

This research aimed to determine: 1) the major pest species of rice pests and its dominant natural enemies in organic rice cultivation assembly based on LOF and botanical pesticide, 2) the major pest attack on rice in organic rice cultivation assembly based on LOF and botanical pesticide, 3) the productivity of two rice varieties in the organic cultivation based on LOF and botanical pesticide. This research was conducted in Randegan village, Kebasen sub-district, Banyumas from April to August, 2014. The experimental design used was a nested pattern design with 2 treatments and 16 replications. The treatment were the varieties of Sintanur and Mentik Wangi. Observed variables included were spesies of major pest population and the intensity of major pests, population of natural enemies, and agronomic variables. The data were analyzed by using t-test at 95% of confidence level. The result showed that the main rice pests include golden snails (Pomacea caniliculata L), brown plant hopper (Nilaparvarta lugens Stal) and rice bug (Leptocoryxa acuta), each of them had the average population with the difference of 2.46; 5.32; and 2.08 consequtively. The dominant species of natural enemies during the research were Paederus sp. (tomcat or rove beetle) and Tetragnatha sp. (spider). The intensity of golden snails and rice stink bug attack on the treatment of Sintanur variety was higher than Mentik Wangi variety by 1,28% and 2,29%, the intensity of brown plant hopper attack on Sintanur variety was lower than on Mentik Wangi variety by 12,26. The productivity of Sintanur variety (5.22 tons/ha DUR or dry unhusked rice) was higher than the productivity of Mentik Wangi variety (4.43 tons/ha DUR) in organic rice cultivation assembly based on LOF and botanical pesticide.
