APLIKASI DUA ISOLAT Trichoderma sp. DALAM FORMULA PADAT DAN CAIR ORGANIK UNTUK MENGENDALIKAN PENYAKIT ANTRAKNOSA PADA TANAMAN CABAI BESAR DI LAPANGAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan dua isolat Trichoderma sp. dalam formula padat dan cair organik terhadap penyakit antraknosa pada tanaman cabai besar di lapangan, dan pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Lahan Petani Cabai Desa Banteran, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas pada ketinggian tempat 600 m di atas permukaan laut, mulai September 2014 sampai dengan Maret 2015. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok, 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan terdiri atas kontrol, Trichoderma sp. isolat jahe, Trichoderma sp. isolat bawang merah, Trichoderma sp. isolat gabungan jahe dan bawang merah, fungisida (tembaga hidroksida 77% 1g/L). Variabel yang diamati yaitu masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit, laju infeksi, kepadatan akhir, tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, bobot tanaman segar, bobot tanaman kering, bobot akar segar, bobot akar kering, waktu berbunga, jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah basah, dan analisis jaringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan Trichoderma sp. isolat gabungan jahe dan bawang merah adalah isolat terbaik karena mampu menurunkan intensitas penyakit antraknosa 87,05%, memperlama masa inkubasi 43,17%, meningkatkan jumlah buah 18,11% dan bobot buah basah sebesar 52,76%. Perlakuan Trichoderma sp. isolat jahe mampu menurunkan intensitas penyakit 80,73%, memperlama masa inkubasi 30,02%, meningkatkan bobot tanaman segar 9,80%, bobot tanaman kering 12,76%, jumlah buah 37,27%, bobot buah 46,35%. Perlakuan Trichoderma sp. isolate bawang merah mampu menurunkan intensitas penyakit 81,80%, memperlama masa inkubasi 42,69%, meningkatkan jumlah buah 4,46%, bobot buah 7,67%. Perlakuan Trichoderma sp. mampu meningkatkan kandungan senyawa saponin pada tanaman cabai besar.

This research aimed at knowing to determine the effectiveness of two Trichoderma sp. isolates in solid and liquid organic formulation to antracnose, and their effect on growth and yield on chili. This research was carried out at the screen house, and the chili field at Banteran Village, Sumbang Sub-District, Banyumas Regency at altitude of 600 m above sea level started from September 2014 to March 2015. Completely Randomized Block Design was used with 5 treatments repeated 5 times. The treatments were control, Trichoderma sp. ginger, onion, and combination of onion+ ginger isolates, and fungicide with active ingredients of cuprum hydroxide 1 g/L. Variables observed were incubation period, disease intensity, infection rate, Trichoderma sp. late density, crop height, root length , fresh and dry weight of root, fresh and dry weight of crops, fruit weight, number of fruits, and phenolic compounds analysis. Results of the research showed that application of Trichoderma sp. ginger+onion isolates combination was the best isolates because effective to suppress the disease as 87,05%, delay incubation period 43,17%, was able to increase number of fruit 18,11% and fruit weight on chili as 52,76%. Aplication of Trichoderma sp. ginger isolates was effective to suppress the disease as 80,73%, delay incubation period 30,02%, was able to increase fresh and dry weight of crops 9,80% and 12,76%, number of fruits 37,27%, fruit weight 46,35%. Aplication of Trichoderma sp. onion isolate was effective to suppress the disease as 81,80%, delay incubation period 42,69%, was able to increase number of fruit 4,46% an fruit weight 7,67%. Aplication of Trichoderma sp. was able to increase saponin compounds.
