Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan bobot, indeks, tebal kerabang dan volume telur berbagai jenis ayam sentul. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 100 ekor ayam sentul betina dari warna bulu abu, batu, debu, emas dan geni periode produksi umur 23 minggu. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu telur berjumlah 250 butir telur ayam sentul yang diambil pada umur 23 minggu sampai 28 minggu. Pakan yang digunakan adalah pakan campuran ayam petelur periode produksi yaitu dedak, jagung, konsentrat dengan perbandingan 3:4:3 dan memiliki kandungan protein 17,2 %, lemak 4,56 %, serat 8,45 %, Ca 3,63 %, P 1,13 %, EM 2.740 Kcal/kg. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan dasar Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan 5 perlakuan (Sa, Sb, Sd, Se dan Sg) dan 5 ulangan. Peubah yang diamati adalah bobot, indeks, tebal kerabang dan volume telur berbagai ayam sentul. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rataan bobot telur berbagai ayam sentul adalah 44,3 ± 2,23 g, rataan indeks telur 77,62 ± 1,77 %, rataan tebal kerabang telur 0,40 ± 0,02 mm dan rataan volume telur 41,85 ± 2,67 cc. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa berbagai ayam sentul berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot, indeks, tebal kerabang dan volume telur ayam sentul. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat perbedaan bobot, indeks, tebal kerabang dan volume telur pada berbagai ayam sentul.

The purpose of this research was to determine the difference weight, index, shell thickness and volume of various types of sentul chicken eggs. The materials used in the study were 100 chickens of females sentul with plumage color of abu, batu, debu, emas and geni in production period age of 23 weeks. The materials used in the study was 250 sentul chicken eggs taken at the age of 23 weeks to 28 weeks. Feed given consisted of bran, corn, concentrate with the ratio 3: 4: 3 and had 17.2 % protein content, 4.56 % fat, 8.45 % fiber, 3.63 % Ca, 1.13 % P, 2740 Kcal/kg EM. This research used the experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with 5 treatments (Sa, Sb, Sd, Se and Sg) and 5 replication. The parameters measured were weight, index, shell thickness and volume of various of sentul chicken eggs. Based on the results of the study, the average weight of the various of chicken eggs was 44.3 ± 2.23 g, the mean index 77.62 ± 1.77 %, the mean thickness 0.40 ± 0.02 mm and the mean volume 41.85 ± 2.67 cc. The variance analysis showed that the various of sentul chicken did not have significant (P>0.05) effect on weight, index, shell thickness and volume. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study was that there was no in difference weight, index, shell thickness and volume of the various types of sentul chicken.
