PERFORMA PERTUMBUHAN IKAN GUPPY (Poecilia reticulata) YANG DIBERI PAKAN EMULSI DENGAN BAHAN DASAR TUBIFEX sp.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan jumlah pakan optimal anakan Ikan Guppy (Poecilia reticulata) yang dipelihara dengan pemberian pakan emulsi dengan bahan dasar Tubifex sp. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 28 hari, ikan yang digunakan memiliki berat rata 0,0048±0,005 dan panjang rata-rata 0,8 cm. Rancangan percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan empat kali ulangan. Perlakuan P0 (Tubifex sp 100% (w/w, g)), P1 (Emulsi 100% (w/w, g), P2 (Emulsi 75% (w/w, g) + Tubifex sp 25% (w/w, g)), P3 (Emulsi 50% (w/w, g) + Tubifex sp 50% (w/w, g)), P4 (Tubifex sp 75% (w/w, g) + emulsi 25% (w/w, g)). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian emulsi dengan bahan dasar Tubifex sp. dengan masing-masing dosis yang berbeda berpengaruh signifikan terhadap panjang tubuh ikan, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak bertambah panjang 0,68-2,00 cm, laju pertumbuhan panjang harian 0,025-0,075 cm/hari, laju pertumbuhan panjang spesifik 2,24-4,46 (%/hari) dan sintasan 65-95%. Secara umum, pakan emulsi dengan bahan dasar cacing Tubifex sp. berpengaruh terhadap panjang dan pemberian pakan yang optimal sebesar 25% (w/w, g) emulsi dan 75% (w/w, g) Tubifex sp terhadap pertumbuhan ikan Guppy. Namun, tidak terlalu berpengaruh terhadap laju pertumbuhan berat harian, dan laju pertumbuhan berat spesifik dikarenakan ikan Guppy memiliki sifat Allometrik.

This research aims is to determine the optimal growth and the amount feed of Guppy fish (Poecilia reticulata) that maintained by feeding with the emulsion with a basis Tubifex sp. material. The research was conducted for 28 days, the fish that used has average weight of 0.0048 ± 0.005 and average length of 0.8 cm. The experimental design was using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments and four replications. Treatment P0 (Tubifex sp 100% (w/w, g)), P1 (Emulsi 100% (w/w, g), P2 (Emulsi 75% (w/w, g) + Tubifex sp 25% (w/w, g)), P3 (Emulsi 50% (w/w, g) + Tubifex sp 50% (w/w, g)), P4 (Tubifex sp 75% (w/w, g) + emulsi 25% (w/w, g)). The results showed that feeding emulsion with the material base of Tubifex sp. by each different doses significantly influence the fish's body length, absolute growth length increases from 0.68 to 2.00 mm, daily growth length rate from 0.025 to 0.075 cm/day, specific growth length rate from 2.24 to 4.46 (%/day) and survival rate from 65-95 %. In general, the feed emulsion with a basis of Tubifex sp. worms influenced on the length and optimal feeding of 25% (w/w, g) emulsion and 75% (w/w, g) Tubifex sp to the growth of Guppy fish. However, it does not significantly influenced daily weight growth rate, and specific growth rate due to Guppy fish has allometric nature.
