SUBSTITUSI KONSENTRAT PABRIK DENGAN LIMBAH IKAN TONGKOL DIHIDROLISIS DENGAN EKSTRAK NANAS DAN POLLARD FERMENTASI TERHADAP BOBOT TELUR DAN BOBOT TETAS PUYUH SERTA KORELASINYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan limbah ikan tongkol dihidrolisis dengan ekstrak nanas dan pollard fermentasi terhadap bobot telur dan bobot tetas puyuh serta mengetahui korelasi antara bobot telur dan bobot tetas puyuh. Materi penelitian yang digunakan yaitu puyuh betina jenis Coturnix coturnix japonica umur 14 minggu sejumlah 80 ekor dan puyuh pejantan jenis Coturnix coturnix japonica 20 ekor umur 14 minggu, dengan bahan pakan yang digunakan yaitu, konsentrat pabrik, limbah ikan tongkol dan pollard fermentasi, dedak, jagung giling dan mineral mix. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental in vivo menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, yaitu R0 (Limbah ikan tongkol dan pollard fermentasi 0%), perlakuan R1 (limbah ikan tongkol hidrolisis dan pollard fermentasi 10%), perlakuan R2 (limbah ikan tongkol hidrolisis dan pollard fermentasi 20%), dan perlakuan R3 (limbah ikan tongkol hidrolisis dan pollard fermentasi 30%). Variabel yang diamati yaitu bobot telur, bobot tetas, serta korelasi antara bobot telur dan bobot tetas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0.05) terhadap bobot telur dan bobot tetas puyuh. Rataan bobot telur 9,14 ± 0,54 g/butir dan bobot tetas 6,30 ± 0,56 gram. Korelasi antara bobot telur dengan bobot tetas menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara bobot telur dan bobot tetas, yang ditunjukan dengan persamaan Y = 0,0479X + 8,869. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah substitusi konsentrat pabrik dengan limbah ikan tongkol dihidrolisis dengan ekstrak nanas dan pollard fermentasi sampai level 30% menghasilkan bobot telur dan bobot tetas yang relatif sama serta terdapat korelasi antara bobot telur dan bobot tetas puyuh.

The aims of this research was to find out the impact of the usage of hydrolyzed tuna waste with pineapple extract and fermented pollard on egg weight and hatching weight and to determine the correlation between the egg weight and the hatching weight of quail eggs. The materials that were used were female quail (Coturnix Coturnix japonica) of 14 weeks old as many as 80 and male quail (Coturnix Coturnix japonica) of 14 weeks old as many as 20, the feed materials used were, concentrate plant, tuna waste, fermentation pollard, bran, corn milling and mineral mix. The research method was experimental by in vivo using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications of R0 (hydrolyzed tuna waste and fermented pollard 0%), R1 (hydrolyzed tuna waste and fermented pollard fermented 10%), R2 (hydrolyzed tuna waste and fermented pollard 20%), R3 (hydrolyzed tuna waste and fermented pollard 30%). Variables observed were egg weight, hatching weight, as well as a correlation between egg weight and hatching weight. The results showed that the impact of treatment is was significant (P> 0.05) on egg weight and hatching weight of quail eggs. The average of egg weight was 9.14 ± 0.54 g /egg and here hatching weight was 6.30 ± 0.56 gram. The correlation between egg weight with hatching weight of quail indicated that there was a relationship between egg weight and hatching weight, which was shown by the equation, Y = 0.0479X + 8.869. The conclusions from these studies are, the substitution of concentrate plant with hydrolyzed tuna waste with pineapple extract and fermented pollard until the level of 30% produces similar egg weight and hatching weight relatively and there is a correlation between egg weight and the hatching weight of quail.
