PENGARUH FLUSHING TERHADAP KONSENTRASI ESTROGEN SERTA PROGESTERON PADA KAMBING SETELAH KAWIN YANG DISINKRONISASI BIRAHI

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh flushing pakan terhadap konsentrasi estrogen dan progesteron dengan penambahan hormon PGF2α. Materi penelitian menggunakan 18 ekor kambing Jawarandu betina, pakan ternak berupa rumput lapang dan konsentrat,hormon lutelayse. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental laboratorium menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan Rumput lapang (nonflushing 1.01 Mkal/kg ME) ; Rumput lapang + konsentrat (flushing 1.97 Mkal/kg ME); Rumput lapang + konsentrat (flushing 2.09Mkal/kg ME). Kosentrasi estrogen serta progesteron pada kambing setelah kawin dianalisis secara deskriptif. Pengaruh flushing data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil. Hasil penelitian menunujukan flushing pakan berpengaruh nyata (P˂0.05) terhadap konsentrasi hormon estrogen dengan presentase tertinggi 0.33 ± 0.07 pg/ml perlakuan 2.09 Mkal/kg ME dan terendah 0.09 ± 0.03 pg/ml perlakuan 1.02 Mkal/kg ME (nonflushing). Konsentrasi hormon progesterone tertinggi yaitu 6.31 ± 0.19 ng/ml dengan perlakuan 1.97 Mkal/kg ME (flushing) dan nonflushing 1.02 Mkal/kg ME dengan konsentrasi 4.14 ± 0.24 ng/ml. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, pakan konsentrat (flushing) dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi estrogen dan progesteron kambing Jawarandu setelah kawin pada hari ke-14.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of flushing feeding on the estrogen and progesterone concentration added with PGF2α. The materials of research used 18 Jawarandu does, the animal feeds were field grass and concentrates, hormone lutalyse. The research method is experimental laboratory using completely randomized design (CRD). Treatment Grass field as a basal feed (nonflushing 1.01 Mcal / kg ME); Grass field + concentrate (flushing 2.24 Mcal /kg ME); Grass field + concentrate (flushing 2.45 Mcal/kg ME). Concentration of estrogen and progesterone of the goat after mating will be analyzed descriptively. While assessing the effect of flushing were analyzed using analysis of variance and followed with Least Significant Difference test. The result of research showed that the effect of flushing was a significantly effect (P˂0.05) into the concentration of estrogen and the was highest is 0.33 ± 0.07 pg/ml with treatment 2.09 Mcal and the lowest was 0.09 ± 0.033 pg/ml with treatment 1,02 Mcal/kg ME (nonflushing). The highest concentration of progesterone was 6.31 ± 0.19 ng/ml with treatment 1.97 (flushing) and the lowest was nonflushing with treatment 1.02 Mcal/kg ME 4.14 ± 0.24 ng/ml. The conclusion of this researchis the feeding concentrates (flushing) can increase concentration of estrogen and progesterone in Jawarandu does after mating on day 14.
