PENGGUNAAN TEPUNG LIMBAH SURIMI DAN TEPUNG AMPAS KECAP YANG BERBEDA SEBAGAI BAHAN DASAR MILK REPLACER TERHADAP KONSUMSI PROTEIN KASAR DAN SERAT KASAR PADA ANAK KAMBING PRA SAPIH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan tepung limbah surimi dan tepung ampas kecap yang berbeda sebagai bahan dasar milk replacer terhadap konsumsi protein kasar dan serat kasar serta mencari formula milk replacer yang terbaik untuk digunakan pada anak kambing pra sapih ditinjau dari konsumsi protein kasar dan serat kasar. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 22 Maret sampai 22 Mei 2015 di Puspa Tiara Agribis, Jl. Raya Baturaden Km 7, Desa Pandak, Purwokerto, Jawa Tengah. Materi penelitian menggunakan formula MR yang terdiri atas bahan basal (30% susu skim, 20% bungkil kelapa, 9,4% tepung tapioka, 0,5 % mineral dan 0,1% probiotik), tepung limbah surimi (TLS) dan tepung ampas kecap (TAK). Metode penelitian adalah secara eksperimental secara in vivo dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diujicobakan terdiri atas MR0, MR1, MR2, dan MR3. Peubah yang diukur adalah konsumsi protein kasar dan serat kasar. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi protein kasar maupun konsumsi serat kasar. Berdasarkan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ) total konsumsi protein kasar, kontrol (MR0) tidak berbeda (P>0,05) terhadap MR1 dan MR3 tetapi MR0 berbeda terhadap MR2 (P<0,05) namun MR2 tidak berbeda nyata terhadap MR3. (MR0 127.22 ± 4.56a g/ekor/hari vs MR1 129.46 ± 4.86a g/ekor/hari vs MR2 138.59 ± 2.66b g/ekor/hari vs MR3 132.64 ± 2.75ab g/ekor/hari).Uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ) total konsumsi serat kasar, kontrol (MR0) tidak berbeda (P>0,05) terhadap MR1, dan MR3 tetapi MR0 berbeda (P<0,05) terhadap MR2. MR1 tidak berbeda (P>0,05) terhadap MR2. (MR0 180.43 ± 11.66a g/ekor/hari vs MR1 191.08 ± 5.55ab g/ekor/hari MR2 202.52 ± 7.57b g/ekor/hari vs MR3 186.94 ± 4.68a g/ekor/hari). Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah formula MR2 merupakan milk replacer terbaik untuk menggantikan susu murni kambing.

This research aimed to examine the effect of the usage of different surimi waste powder and ketchup dregs powder as the basic material of milk replacer on the crude protein and crude fiber consumption and to find the best formula of milk replacer for the post weaning goat viewed from the consumption of crude protein and crude fiber. This research was conducted from 22nd of March to 22nd of May 2015 at Puspa Tiara Agribis, Baturaden St Km 7, Pandak Village, Purwokerto, Central Java. The materials of this research were milk replacer formula that consisted of the basal material (30% skim milk, 20% residu of copra, 9.4% tapioca flour, 0.5% mineral and 0.1% probiotic), surimi waste powder and ketchup dregs powder. This research used in vivo experimental method and used completely randomized design (CRD). The treatments that were tested consisted of MR0, MR1, MR2, and MR3. The variables of this research were crude protein and crude fiber consumptions. The data were analized using analysis of variance (ANAVA) and continued with honestly significant difference (HSD). The results of this research showed that the treatment gave significant effect (P<0.01) on the crude protein and crude fiber consumptions. Based on the test of honestly significant difference (HSD) the total consumption of crude protein of control (MR0) was not different (P>0,05) to the MR1 and MR3 but MR0 was different (P<0.05) to the MR2. MR2 was not different to the MR3. (MR0 127.22 ± 4.56a g/a/day vs MR1 129.46 ± 4.86a g/a/day vs MR2 138.59 ± 2.66b g/a/day vs MR3 132.64 ± 2.75ab g/a/day). Based on the test of honestly significant difference (HSD), total consumption of crude fiber of control (MR0) was not different (P>0,05) to MR1 and MR3 but MR0 was different (P<0,05) to the MR2. MR1 was not different (P>0.05) to MR2. (MR0 180.43 ± 11.66a g/a/day vs MR1 191.08 ± 5.55ab g/a/day MR2 202.52 ± 7.57b g/a/day vs MR3 186.94 ± 4.68a g/a/day). The conclusion of the research is MR2 formula is the best milk replacer for pure goat milk.
