MODEL GOMPERTZ DAN APLIKASINYA PADA PERTUMBUHAN BOBOT AYAM BROILER

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang model Gompertz yang mengikuti model eksponensial dengan asumsi laju pertumbuhan bergantung terhadap waktu. Penyelesaian model bergantung pada laju pertumbuhan dan efektivitas faktor pertumbuhan. Model Gompertz dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi pertumbuhan bobot ayam broiler dan menentukan terjadinya laju pertumbuhan maksimum. Berdasarkan data bobot ayam broiler di PT. Mustika Unit Kebumen diperoleh model Gompertz dengan laju pertumbuhan awal 0,25082 per hari dan efektifitas faktor pertumbuhan 0,05438 per hari. Laju pertumbuhan maksimum bobot ayam broiler terjadi pada umur 28 hari dengan bobot ayam broiler sebesar 1473,09 gram. Selain itu, pemanenan ayam broiler di PT. Mustika Unit Kebumen sebaiknya dilakukan pada umur 30 hari sampai 42 hari dengan bobot 1634,02 gram sampai 2518,27 gram.

This research discuss about a Gompertz’s models that follows exponential’s models with assume the growth rate depends on time. The completion of the models depends on the growth rate and the effectiveness of growth factors. The Gompertz’s models can be used to predict the weighting growth of broiler chicken and determine the maximum growth rate. Based on weighting data of broiler chicken in PT. Mustika Unit Kebumen obtained Gompertz’s models with early growth rate 0,25082 per day and effectiveness growth factors 0,05438 per day. The maximum growth rate of broiler chicken weight happened at age 28 days with broiler chicken weights is 1473,09 grams. While, harvesting broiler chicken in PT. Mustika Unit Kebumen should be done age 30 days to 42 days with weights 1634,02 grams until 2518,27 grams.
