PENURUNAN COD DAN BOD LIMBAH CAIR INDUSTRI TAHU MENGGUNAKAN METODE AOPs DALAM SISTEM FeSO4 DAN FeSO4/UV

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penurunan kadar COD dan BOD limbah cair tahu dalam sistem FeSO4/H2O2/UV. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan beberapa sistem uji yang meliputi FeSO4 dan UV/FeSO4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh radiasi UV pada penurunan kadar COD dan BOD limbah cair tahu memberikan persentase berturut-turut sebesar 31,58% dan 22,22%, persentase penurunan kadar COD dan BOD limbah cair tahu dalam sistem H2O2 berturut-turut sebesar 55,56% dan 29,17%, sistem UV/H2O2 memberikan persentase penurunan berturut-turut sebesar 64,29% dan 37,04%. Penurunan kadar COD dan BOD limbah cair tahu dalam sistem FeSO4 berturut-turut sebesar 69,23% dan 37,93%, sedangkan sistem UV/FeSO4 diperoleh persentase berturut-turut sebesar 72,00% dan 46,67%.

The research on COD and BOD decreased levels of tofu liquid waste in FeSO4/H2O2/UV system has been conducted. In this study, the researcher did a few test systems including FeSO4, UV/FeSO4. The result showed that the UV radiation effect on COD and BOD decreased levels of tofu liquid waste gave respective percentage 31,58% and 22,22%, the COD and BOD decreased levels of tofu liquid waste in H2O2 system gave respective percentage 55,56% and 29,17%, UV/H2O2 system gave respective decreased percentage 64,29% and 37,04%. The COD and BOD decreased levels of tofu liquid waste in FeSO4 system gave respective percentage 69,23% and 37.93%, while the percentage obtained from UV/FeSO4 system was 72,00% and 46,67%.
