KANDUNGAN PROTEIN DAN AMILOSA BEBERAPA GALUR PADI SAWAH DAN KORELASINYA DENGAN KARAKTER AGRONOMIK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengkaji daya hasil 10 galur murni padi keturunan persilangan, 2) Mengkaji kandungan protein dan amilosa 10 galur murni padi keturunan persilangan, 3) Mengkaji korelasi antara karakter agronomik dan kualitas hasil 10 galur murni padi keturunan persilangan, 4) mendapatkan galur yang berdaya hasil tinggi dan mempunyai kandungan protein tinggi serta tekstur nasi pulen. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Desa Pasir Kulon Kecamatan Karanglewas, Kabupaten Banyumas, selama 4 bulan, dimulai bulan September 2014 sampai Januari 2015. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) terdiri atas 10 genotip dan 2 varietas pembanding dengan 3 kali ulangan. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan total, jumlah anakan produktif, umur berbunga, umur panen, jumlah gabah total per malai, persentase gabah isi, bobot 1000 butir, hasil gabah per petak, kandungan protein dan kandungan amilosa. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji F, apabila terdapat perbedaan nyata dilanjutkan dengan DMRT pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat genotip daya hasil tinggi, komponen hasil ideal, protein tinggi dan tekstur nasi pulen yaitu P-G39//CH-GD-14. Daya hasil tinggi, komponen hasil kurang ideal, protein tinggi, dan tekstur nasi pulen yaitu P-MW//G39-GD-72 dan P-PS//MR-GD-94. Daya hasil rendah, komponen hasil kurang ideal, protein tinggi, dan tekstur nasi pulen yaitu P-MW//G39-GD-73, P-MW//LG-GD-77 dan P-SL//G39-GD-106.

This study aims to: 1) review ten rice hybrid lines, 2) determine protein and amylose ten hybrid lines, 3) study correlation between agronomic characters and quality with the 10 hybird lines, 4) get high yielding hybrid lines and has a high protein content and fluffy texture. Research has been conducted at Pasir Kulon village Karanglewas subdistrict, Banyumas, for 4 months, started from September 2014 to January 2015. The experimental design in this research used is a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 10 genotypes and 2 varieties with three replications. Variables observed were plant height, number of tillers total, the number of productive tillers, days to flowering, harvesting, the total number of grains per panicle, filled grain percentage, 1000 grain weight, grain yield per plot, protein and amylose content. The data were analyzed using the F test, if there is a significant difference then will be with DMRT at 5% error level. The results showed that were genotype with high yield, genotype with yield components ideal, high protein and rice fluffy texture that is P-G39 // CH-GD-14. Genotype with high yield, but yield components is less than ideal, high protein, and rice fluffier texture that is P-MW // G39-GD-72 and P-PS // MR-GD-94. Genotypes showing low yield, yield components is less than ideal, high protein, and rice fluffier texture that is P-MW // G39-GD-73, P-MW // LG-GD-77 and P-SL // G39-GD-106.
