Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Penelitian yang berjudul: “Beberapa Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kinerja
Perusahaan Pada Perusahaan Pertambangan Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek
Indonesia” dilakukan di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Adapun tujuan utama penelitian ini
adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis lebih dalam mengenai pengaruh
strategi perusahaan, struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan dan resiko bisnis terhadap
kinerja perusahaan. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1)
strategi perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. 2) Struktur
modal berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. 3) Ukuran perusahaan
berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. 4) Resiko bisnis berpengaruh
positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan.
Penelitian ini mengunakan metode purposive sampling dalam
pengambilan sampel sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Jumlah perusahaan yang
memenuhi syarat adalah 14 perusahaan pertambangan. Regresi linear berganda
digunakan untuk menguji apakah strategi perusahaan, struktur modal, ukuran
perusahaan dan resiko bisnis mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan.
Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi perusahaan dan resiko
bisnis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Sedangkan
struktur modal dan ukuran perusahan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan.
Perusahaan dengan strategi yang bagus dengan mudah mendapatkan
keuntungan dan dengan resiko bisnis yang tinggi diharapkan perusahaan lebih
matang dan siap untuk menghadapi tantangan selanjutnya dalam persaingan
bisnis. Hal ini menjadi pertimbangan para investor sebelum mereka mengambil
keputusan investasi.

Research entitled: “Factors Influencing Firm’s Performance in Mining
Companies Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX)” was conducted at
Indonesia Stock Exchange. The main objective of this study is to determine
factors influence firm performance in mining companies listed on Indonesia Stock
Exchange (IDX). These researches analyze the effect of corporate strategy, capital
structure, firm size and business risk on firm performance. The hypotheses
proposed in this research were: 1) Corporate strategy positively affected on
company’s performance. 2) Capital structure negatively affected on company’s
performance. 3) Firm size positively affected on company’s performance. 4)
Business risk positively affected on company’s performance.
This research used purposive sampling method in selecting samples in line
with research objectives. The total samples consisted of 14 mining firms which
were chosen based on certain criteria. Multiple linear regression analysis was
applied to examine weather corporate strategy, capital structure, firm size and
business risk affecting firm performance.
Based on the results show that corporate strategy and business risk has a
positive effect and significant on firm performance, while capital structure and
firm size are not significant.
Company with good corporate strategy is easier to reach profitability and
with the high business risk, company is expected to more capable and ready to
face the next challenging business competition. This result could be considered to
investors before they take investment decisions.
