Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Perdagangan internasional dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara termasuk juga Indonesia. sebagai negara yang menganut sistem perekonomian terbuka, perdagangan internasional khususnya ekspor merupakan faktor penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Indonesia memiliki luas areal kelapa terbesar di dunia kira-kira 3,79 juta hektar, sehingga menjadi produsen kelapa dunia terbesar. Tetapi situasi ini tidak menjadikan Indonesia menjadi pengekspor terbesar di dunia untuk produk agroindustri kelapa. Nilai ekspor produk agroindustri kelapa hanya kira-kira 65,5 persen dari total ekspor Filipina untuk produk olahan kelapa pada tahun 2013. Hal ini mengakibatkan pangsa pasar terutama produk olahan kelapa Indonesia di pasar internasional relatif kecil. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut penelitian ini mencoba untuk menganalisis struktur pasar produk olahan kelapa (desiccated coconut) tahun 2009-2013, untuk menganalisis keunggulan komparatif produk olahan kelapa (desiccated coconut) Indonesia, dan untuk menganalisis keunggulan kompetitif produk olahan kelapa (desiccated coconut) Indonesia.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa struktur pasar pada produk olahan kelapa (desiccated coconut) adalah pasar oligopi. Kemudian dengan menggunakan analisis Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) menunjukan bahwa produk olahan kelapa (desiccated coconut) memiliki keunggulan komparatif di pasar dunia. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis Export Product Dynamic (EPD) menunjukan bahwa produk olahan kelapa (desiccated coconut) memiliki keunggulan kompetitif di pasar dunia.
Dalam menigkatkan keunggulan komparatif di pasar internasional penting bagi Indonesia untuk memperluas pangsa pasar terutama pada pangsa tujuan ekspor produk olahan kelapa (desiccated coconut) dunia. Di samping itu dalam meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif maka sebaiknya Indonesia meningkatkan kualitas produk olahan kelapa (desiccated coconut).

International trade can encourage economic growth of a country, including Indonesia. as a country with an open economy, international trade, especially exports is an important factor in encourage economic growth. Indonesia has the largest area in the world's coconut planting approximately 3.79 million hectares, and making Indonesia into the world's biggest coconut producer. But this situation does not make Indonesia into the world's largest exporter of agroindustry products of coconut. The export value of agroindustry products of coconut, only about 65,5 percent of the total Philippine exports of processed coconut products in 2013. This result in market share especially Indonesia processed coconut products in the international market is relatively small. Based on the phenomenon this research try to analyze the market structure of processed coconut products (desiccated coconut) in 2009-2013, to analyze the comparative advantage of processed coconut products (desiccated coconut) Indonesia, and to analyze the competitive advantage of processed coconut products (desiccated coconut) Indonesia.
Based on the results of the study showed that the structure of the market in processed coconut products (desiccated coconut) is oligopi market. Then by using analysis of Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) showed that the processed coconut products (desiccated coconut) has a comparative advantage in the world market. The results using the Export Product Dynamic analysis (EPD) shows that the processed coconut products (desiccated coconut) have a competitive advantage in the world market.
In improving the comparative advantage in international markets is important for Indonesia to expand its market share especially in the share of exports of processed coconut products (desiccated coconut) world. Therefore, in improving competitive advantage then Indonesia should improve the quality of processed coconut products (desiccated coconut).
