NILAI MEAN CORPUSCULLAR HEMOGLOBIN CONCENTRATION (MCHC) DAN MEAN CORPUSCULLAR HEMOGLOBIN (MCH) PADA BERBAGAI AYAM SENTUL BETINA UMUR 18 MINGGU

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan nilai Mean Corpuscullar Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC) dan nilai Mean Corpuscullar Hemoglobin (MCH) pada berbagai varietas ayam Sentul betina umur 18 minggu. Materi penelitian menggunakan 175 ekor ayam Sentul. Ayam Sentul yang digunakan ada 5 varietas, yaitu ayam Sentul Abu (Sa), ayam Sentul Batu (Sb), ayam Sentul Debu (Sd), ayam Sentul Emas (Se) dan ayam Sentul Geni (Sg). Jenis kelamin yang digunakan adalah betina. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan terdiri atas Sa, Sb, Sd, Se dan Sg. Peubah yang diamati adalah nilai MCHC dan MCH. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan nilai MCHC, yaitu ayam Sentul Abu (Sa) = 28,91±1,56%, ayam Sentul Batu (Sb) = 29,57±0,59%, ayam Sentul Debu (Sd) = 29,52±2,60%, ayam Sentul Emas (Se) = 27,02±2,09% dan ayam Sentul Geni (Sg) = 26,91±1,91%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa berbagai ayam Sentul betina umur 18 minggu berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap nilai MCHC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan nilai MCH, yaitu ayam Sentul Abu (Sa) = 31,64±3,97 pg, ayam Sentul Batu (Sb) = 33,25±4,27 pg, ayam Sentul Debu (Sd) = 30,82±1,76 pg, ayam Sentul Emas (Se) = 32,92±6,72 pg dan ayam Sentul Geni (Sg) = 30,27±6,07 pg. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa berbagai ayam Sentul betina berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,01) terhadap nilai MCH. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan berbagai varietas ayam Sentul tidak mempengaruhi nilai MCH dan MCHC.

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference values of Mean Corpuscullar Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC) and Mean Corpuscullar Hemoglobin (MCH) on different varieties of chickens Sentul females age 18 weeks. The research materials were 175 Sentul chicken. Sentul chicken used were 5 varieties, namely chicken Sentul Abu (Sa), Sentul Batu (Sb), Sentul Debu (Sd), Sentul Emas (Se) and Sentul Geni (Sg). The gender used was female. The method of the research was experimental, using Completely Randomized Design (CRD). As the treatment were of Sa, Sb, Sd, Se and Sg. The parameters measured were the values of MCHC and MCH. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance. The results showed that the average value of MCHC, of Sentul Abu (Sa) chicken = 28.91±1.56%, Sentul Batu (Sb) chicken = 29.57±0.59%, Sentul Debu (Sd) chicken = 29.52±2.60%, Sentul Emas (Se) chicken = 27.02±2.09% and Sentul Geni (Sg) chicken = 26.91±1.91%. The analysis showed that the various female chickens Sentul at the age of 18 weeks, did not significantly affect (P>0.05) MCHC value. The results showed that the average value MCH, of namely Sentul Abu (Sa) chicken = 31.64±3.97 pg, Sentul Batu (Sb) chicken = 33.25±4.27 pg, Sentul Debu (Sd) chicken = 30.82±1.76 pg, Sentul Emas (Se) chicken = 32.92±6.72 pg and Sentul Geni (Sg) chicken = 30.27±6.07 pg. The analysis showed that the various impact toward MCH value at the age of 18 weeks did not give any significant affect (P>0.01) on MCH value. The results of this study concludes, various Sentul chicken does not affect the value of MCH and MCHC.
