APLIKASI REGRESI LINIER BIVARIAT SEDERHANA PADA DATA CUACA DI CILACAP

Penelitian ini membahas tentang regresi linier bivariat sederhana pada data cuaca di Kabupaten Cilacap. Regresi linier bivariat sederhana ini menggunakan dua variabel respon, curah hujan dan kelembaban udara suatu wilayah, dan satu variabel prediktor, temperatur udara. Metode pengujian signifikansi model persamaan regresi adalah uji Wilks’ Lamda, dengan nilai Wilks’ Lamda = 0,881101 bernilai lebih kecil dari lambda tabel 0,903 yang berarti paling tidak terdapat satu parameter yang signifikan pada model.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aplikasi model regresi linier bivariat sederhana pada data ini (time series) kurang sesuai, karena terdapat dua asumsi yang tidak dipenuhi yaitu asumsi linieritas dan asumsi independen.

This study discussed the simple bivariate linier regression on weather data in Cilacap district. There are the two response variables, rainfall and humidity of an area and one predictor (the air temperature). The method for checking significant the model is a Wilks’ Lamda tes. The value of Wilks’ Lamda = 0.881101 less than lambda table 0,903 which means there is at least one significant parameter in the model. The results showed that the application of simple bivariate linear regression model to the data (time series) is less appropriate, because there are two assumptions that are not fulfilled, that are the assumption of linearity and independent.
