Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Good Corporate Governance merupakan suatu komitmen atau aturan main serta praktik penyelenggaraan bisnis yang berupa prinsip prinsip agar penyelenggara bisnis tersebut dapat berjalan secara sehat dan beretika yang mengurus hubungan antara shareholders dengan stakeholders untuk membuat suatu nilai tambah bagi suatu perusahaan.  
Penerapan Good Corporate Governance juga membuat pengelolaan perusahaan menjadi lebih jelas, baik dalam pembagiaan tugas, kejelasan fungsi, keterbukaan informasi, dan pengawasan jalannya operasional perusahaan serta kegiatan perusahaan lainnya yang tersirat pada 5 (lima) prinsip Good Corporate Governance, yaitu transparancy, accountability, responsibility, independent, dan fairness.
Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) merupakan salah satu kontributor pendapatan negara, sehingga menjadi penting bagi pemerintah untuk menjamin keberlangsungan usaha dan operasional BUMN. Sebagai usaha untuk menjamin keberlangsungan usaha dan operasional BUMN, maka perlu adanya penerapan prinsip Good Corporate Governance secara konsisten dan berkelanjutan. PT. Gapura Angkasa yang bergerak dibidang ground handling dalam usaha jasa penerbangan di Indonesia, memiliki kewajiban dalam hal pengelolaan perusahaan berdasarkan prinsip yang ada dalam Good Corporate Governance. 
Dewan Komisaris sebagai salah satu organ perseroan yang salah satunya memiliki tugas dalam hal pengawasan operasional perusahaan, memiliki peran penting dalam penerapan prinsip Good Corporate Governance pada PT. Gapura Angkasa, sehingga penelitian ini yang juga menggunakan  Laporan Hasil Assesment Penerapan Good Corporate Governance pada PT. Gapura Angkasa Pada Tahun 2011 kita dapat mengetahui tanggung jawab hukum Dewan Komisaris dalam penerapan prinsip Good Corporate Governance pada PT. Gapura Angkasa yang nantinya akan diajukan saran demi peningkatan efektifitas penerapan Good Corporate Governance.

Good Corporate Governance is a commitment or the rules and practices of business administration in the form of principles in order that the business operators can run properly and ethically the management connecting shareholders and stakeholders to create an added value for a company.
Implementation of Good Corporate Governance also makes the management of the company more apparent in tasks distribution, clarity of function, information disclosure, and supervision of the company's operations as well as other corporate activities implied in five (5) good corporate governance principles, namely Transparency, accountability, responsibility , independent, and fairness.
State Owned Enterprises (SOE) is one of the contributors to state revenue, making it important for the government to ensure the sustainability of the business and operations of SOEs. In an effort to ensure the sustainability of the business and operations of state-owned enterprises, it is necessary to implement Good Corporate Governance principles consistently and continuously. PT. Gapura Angkasa engaged in ground handling in aviation business services in Indonesia, has an obligation in terms of the management of the company based on the principles implied in the Good Corporate Governance.
Board of Commissioners (BOC) as one of the organs of the company, one of which has the task in terms of operational control of the company, has an important role in the application of Good Corporate Governance in PT. Gapura Angkasa, so this study also uses Assessment Report of the Implementation of Good Corporate Governance in PT. Gapura Angkasa. In 2011 we can know the legal responsibility of the Board of Commissioners in the implementation of Good Corporate Governance in PT. Gapura Angkasa which later will be suggested to improve the effectiveness of the implementation of good corporate governance.
