SUBSTITUSI KONSENTRAT MENGGUNAKAN BULU AYAM HASIL FERMENTASI PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP KECERNAAN BAHAN KERING DAN KECERNAAN PROTEIN PAKAN AYAM BROIL

Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh substitusi konsentrat dengan tepung bulu ayam fermentasi terhadap kecernaan bahan kering dan protein ayam niaga pedaging. Materi yang digunakan 60 ekor ayam broiler umur 8 minggu. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan yaitu 0% (R0), 3% (R1), 6% (R2), 9% (R3), dan 12% (R4) yang diulang 4 kali. Peubah yang diukur adalah kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan protein. Data dianalisis dengan analisis variansi. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0.05) terhadap kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan protein. Penggunaan tepung bulu ayam fermentasi dapat menggantikan konsentrat sampai 12% dalam pakan ayam broiler tanpa mempengaruhi kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan protein.

The objectives of this research was to investigate the effect of The substitution of concentrates by flour chicken feather meal on digestibility of dry matter and protein on broiler ration. The materials in this study were 60 broiler chickens. The research was conducted with the experimental method, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. As the treatments were used feeds flour chicken feathers as much as 0% (R0),3% (R1), 6% (R2), and 9% (R3) 12% (R4). Variables measured were digestibility of dry matter and protein. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance. The results of variance analysis showed that the treatment did not significant by effect (P>0.05) digestibility of dry matter and protein The conclusion of this research is that, The use of flour chicken feathers mixed can replace concentrates of up to 12 % in feed broiler chicken without affecting digestibility of dry matter and protein on broiler chicken.
