BOBOT DAN PERSENTASE BAGIAN-BAGIAN KARKAS DAN NON KARKAS ITIK RAMBON JANTAN YANG DIBERI TEPUNG DAUN SALAM (Syzygium polyanthum) DALAM RANSUM

Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh level pemberian tepung daun salam yang optimal terhadap bobot dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas dan non karkas itik Rambon jantan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di peternakan itik Desa Dukuhwaluh, Kecamatan Kembaran Kabupaten Banyumas dan di Laboratorium Produksi Ternak Unggas, Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan 80 ekor itik Rambon jantan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan terdiri atas ransum basal tanpa penambahan tepung daun salam (R0), ransum basal + 3% tepung daun salam (R1), ransum basal + 6% tepung daun salam, dan ransum basal + 9% tepung daun salam. Peubah yang diamati adalah bobot bagian-bagian karkas dan non karkas serta persentase bagian-bagian karkas dan non karkas. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan apabila berpengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian diperoleh rataan bobot dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas dari perlakuan secara berurutan yaitu Dada R0 = 238,67 g dan 27,69%, R1 = 237,59 g dan 27,73%, R2 = 253,95 g dan 29,23%, R3 = 244,91 g dan 28,84%. Punggung R0 = 182,27 g dan 21,26%, R1 = 196,23 g dan 22,87%, R2 = 200,19 g dan 23,14%, R3 = 177,89 g dan 20,99%. Paha R0 = 211,81 g dan 24,67%, R1 = 199,47 g dan 23,42%, R2 = 195,21 g dan 22,71%, R3 = 207,10 g dan 24,37%. Sayap R0 = 124,20 g dan 14,62%, R1 = 121,68 g dan 14,35%, R2 = 121,71 g dan 14,11%, R3 = 122,37 g dan 14,43%. Giblet R0 = 100,07 g dan 11,76%, R1 = 98,93 g dan 11,63%, R2 = 93,22 g dan 10,82%, R3 = 96,79 g dan 11,37%, sedangkan rataan bobot dan persentase bagian-bagian non karkas yaitu Kepala R0 = 70,50 g dan 23,35%, R1 = 67,08 g dan 22,66%, R2 = 65,50 g dan 21,93%, R3 = 68,34 g dan 22,24%. Leher R0 =149,40 g dan 49,49%, R1 = 144,70 g dan 48,87%, R2 = 150,10 g dan 50,12%, R3 = 151,32 g dan 49,52%. Shank R0 = 35,94 g dan 11,90%, R1 = 36,74 g dan 12,43%, R2 = 35,50 g dan 11,92%, R3 = 35,08 g dan 11,50%. Viscera (usus) R0 = 46,10 g dan 15,26% , R1 = 47,90 g dan 16,04%, R2 = 48,10 g dan 16,03%, R3 = 50,36 g dan 16,54%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung daun salam dengan level 3%, 6%, 9% berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas dan non karkas Itik Rambon Jantan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penambahan tepung daun salam (Syzygium polyanthum) sampai dengan level 9% dalam ransum menghasilkan bobot dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas dan non karkas itik Rambon jantan yang relatif sama.

The aim of this research was to determine the optional level of propotion Salam leaf meal on the weight and percentage of carcass and non-carcass Rambon duck male. The research was conducted in Dukuhwaluh Village, Kembaran Distric, Banyumas Regency and Poultry Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. This research used 80 heads. The method used was an experimental method using Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatmens were feed without salam leaf meal (R0), feed + 3% salam leaf meal (R1), feed + 6% salam leaf meal (R2), and feed + 9% salam leaf meal (R3). Variables measured were weight of carcass and non-carcass parts and persentage of carcass and non-carcass parts. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by Test Honestly Significant Difference (HSD). The result average weight and persentage of carcass of the treatments are Chests R0 = 238.67 g and 27.69%, R1 = 237.59 g and 27.73%, R2 = 253.95 g and 29.23%, R3 = 244.91 g and 28.84%. Backs R0 = 182.27 g and 21.26%, R1 = 196.23 g and 22.87%, R2 = 200.19 g and 23.14%, R3 = 177.89 g and 20.99%. Thigh R0 = 211.81 g and 24.67%, R1 = 199.47 g and 23.42%, R2 = 195.21 g and 22.71%, R3 = 207.10 g and 24.37%. Wings R0 = 124.20 g and 14.62%, R1 = 121.68 g and 14.35%, R2 = 121.71 g and 14.11%, R3 = 122.37 g and 14.43%. Giblets R0 = 100.07 g and 11.76%, R1 = 98.93 g and 11.63%, R2 = 93.22 g and 10.82%, R3 = 96.79 g and 11.37%, respectively, meanwhile the average of weight and persentage non-carcass parts of the treatmens are Head R0 = 70.50 g and 23.35%, R1 = 67.08 g and 22.66%, R2 = 65.50 g and 21.93%, R3 = 68.34 g and 22.24%. Neck R0 =149.40 g and 49.49%, R1 = 144.70 g and 48.87%, R2 = 150.10 g and 50.12%, R3 = 151.32 g and 49.52%. Shank R0 = 35.94 g and 11.90%, R1 = 36.74 g and 12.43%, R2 = 35.50 g and 11.92%, R3 = 35.08 g and 11.50%. Visceras R0 = 46.10 g and 15.26% , R1 = 47.90 g and 16.04%, R2 = 48.10 g and 16.03%, R3 = 50.36 g and 16.54%. Result of analysis of variance showed that salam leaf meal supplementation to the level of 3%, 6%, 9% did not significanly (P>0.05) affect weight and percentage parts of carcass and non-carcass of Rambon Drakes. The conclusion of this research were supplementation salam leaf meal (Syzygium polyanthum) up to 9% level in the diet produce weight and percentage parts of carcass and non-carcass of Rambon duck male relatifely similar.
