Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung (Solanum melongena L.) terhadap konsentrasi giberelin dalam perendaman benih terung, 2) Mengetahui pengaruh pupuk organik cair terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung, 3) interaksi antara kedua perlakuan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung. Penelitian dilaksanakan di screen house, Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura, dan Laboratorium tanah Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto dengan ketinggian tempat 110 mdpl pada bulan Juni sampai dengan November 2014. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial terdiri dari 9 perlakuan yang diulang 3 kali. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi giberelin dengan 3 taraf yaitu 0, 250 dan 500 ppm. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk organik cair dengan 3 taraf yaitu 0, 50 dan 100 ml/polybag. Data dianalisis dengan uji F, apabila hasil berbeda nyata antar pelakuan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan konsentrasi giberelin mampu membantu pertumbuhan dan berpengaruh mempercepat umur berbunga tanaman terung. Dosis pupuk organik cair tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung. Adanya interaksi antara kedua perlakuan memberikan hasil terbaik yaitu pada konsentrasi giberelin 250 ppm dan dosis POC 100 ml/polybag terhadap jumlah daun.

The research was amied to know 1) the growht and production respons of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) on giberelin concentration in seed eggplant soaking, 2) the effect of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth, 3) the interaction between the two factors on the growth and production of eggplant. The research was carried out in the screen house, laboratory of Agronomy and horticulture, and Soil Science laboratory the faculty of Agrikulture, Jenderal Soedirman University Purwokerto, district at 110 meters above sea level from June to November 2014. This experiment used Randomized Block Design which consists of 9 treatment with three times repeated. The first factor is the concentration gyberelline with 3 levels i.e 0, 250 and 500 ppm. The secound factor is dosage of liquid organic fertilizer with 3 levels i.e 0, 50 and 100 ml/polybag. The data were analyzed by F test, if the results were significantly different between treatments followed by Least Significant Difference test (LSD) at 5% level. The results showed increased concentrations of gibberellin can help accelerate the growth and influence of age flowering plant eggplant. Dose liquid organic fertilizer has no effect on the growth and yield of eggplant. The interaction between the two factors gives the best results at a concentration of 250 ppm and dose gibberellins POC 100 ml/polybag to variable number of leaves.
