UJI KEMEMPANAN EMPAT ISOLAT Trichoderma sp. TERHADAP PENYAKIT KARAT KACANG TANAH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui isolat Trichoderma sp. yang paling baik dalam mengendalikan penyakit karat daun kacang tanah, (2) Mengetahui pengaruh empat isolat Trichoderma sp. terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kacang tanah. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Mei sampai dengan Agustus 2014 di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 16 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas Kontrol, fungisida, aplikasi Trichoderma sp. isolat jahe, Trichoderma sp. isolat nenas, Trichoderma sp. isolat pisang, Trichoderma sp. isolat bawang merah dan kombinasinya. Variabel yang diamati meliputi masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit karat, selisih tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, bobot akar segar, bobot akar kering, bobot tanaman segar, bobot tanaman kering, berbunga pertama, jumlah polong, bobot polong segar, analisis kandungan senyawa fenol secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian Perlakuan Trichoderma sp. belum mampu menekan intensitas penyakit karat kacang tanah. Perlakuan Trichoderma sp. belum mampu meningkatkan komponen pertumbuhan dan hasil pada tanaman kacang tanah.

The aims of this research were to (1) know the best isolates of Trichoderma sp. in overcoming ground nut leaf rust disease, (2) know the effect of four isolates of Trichoderma sp. on growth and yield of ground nut. The research was conducted from May to August 2014 at the Laboratory of Plant Protection and experimental field of Agriculture Faculty, Jenderal Sudirman University, Purwokerto. This research used Randomized Block Design with 16 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment consists of control, fungicides, aplication of Trichoderma sp. ginger isolates, Trichoderma sp. pineapple isolates, Trichoderma sp. banana isolates, Trichoderma sp. shallot isolates and their combinations. Variables observed include the incubation period, intensity of rust disease, the difference in plant height, root length, fresh root weight, dry root weight, plant fresh weight, dry weight of the plant, time of first flowering, number of pods, weight of fresh pods, and qualitative analysis of the content of phenolic compounds. The results showed that treatment Trichoderma sp. was not able to suppress the intensity of ground nut rust disease and not able to improve the growth and ground nut production.
