Penelitian Perbedaan Waktu Aspirasi Terhadap Kualitas Oosit Sapi Brahman Cross Secara In Vitro telah dilakukan di Balai Embrio Ternak Cipelang Bogor. Materi penelitian adalah catatan produksi embrio invitro dari 10 ekor sapi Brahman Cross betina bulan Juli sampai bulan September 2011 di BET Cipelang Bogor. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengkaji pengaruh perbedaan waktu aspirasi terhadap jumlah oosit dengan grade A, B, C dan D secara in vitro, mengetahui waktu aspirasi yang tepat untuk menghasilkan kualitas oosit yang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas baik (A dan B) yang diperoleh dari aspirasi 2 – 4 jam adalah 127.00  ± 22.80 buah, lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan perlakuan aspirasi 5 – 8 jam yaitu hanya 60.00 ± 37.92 buah. Jumlah oosit dengan kualitas jelek (C dan D) pada perlakuan aspirasi 2 - 4 jam setelah penyembelihan adalah 62.40 ± 14.33 buah, sedangkan pada perlakuan aspirasi 5 – 8 jam setelah penyembelihan jumlah oosit adalah 128.80 ± 33.40 buah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aspirasi lebih dari 4 jam kualitas oosit mengalami penurunan. Oleh karena itu aspirasi lebih dari 4 jam tidak dianjurkan.

The research of difference time of aspiration of Brahman Cross cattle oocyte on the quality of in vitro embrio has been conducted at the Central Animal Embrio Cipelang Bogor. The research materials is data of 10 heads of Brahman Cross cattle in vitro embrio production records (July – September 2011) at the BET Cipelang Bogor. The purpose of the research is to assess the effect of the time difference to the number of oocyte aspiration with grade A, B, C and D in vitro, and to know the exact time of aspiration to produce good quality oocytes. The results showed that good quality (A and B) were obtained from 2 – 4 hours aspiration was 127.00 ± 22.80 pieces, higher than 5 – 8 hours aspiration is only 60.00 ± 37.92 pieces. The number of oocytes with poor quality (C and D) in the treatment of 2 – 4 hours aspiration after slaughter was 62.40 ± 14:33 peaces, while on treatment 5 – 8 hours aspiration after slaughter number of oocytes was 128.80 ± 33.40 peaces. The conclusion of this study indicate that the aspirations of more than 4 hours of oocyte quality has decreased. Therefore, the aspirations of more than 4 hours is not recommended.
