Penelitian ini berjudul “Hubungan Antara Intensitas Menonton Tayangan Talkshow Dr. Oz Indonesia Trans TV Dengan Perilaku Hidup Sehat Pada Ibu Rumah Tangga Kelurahan Karangklesem Kecamatan Purwokerto Selatan”. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan uses and gratification penelitian ini berusaha mencari hubungan antara intensitas menonton tayangan talkshow Dr. Oz Indonesia Trans TV dengan perilaku hidup pada sehat ibu rumah tangga Kelurahan Karangklesem Kecamatan Purwokerto Selatan. Metode penelitan yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survey. Teknik Proporsional Random Sampling dipilih untuk menentukan jumlah responden yang akan menjadi sampel penelitian dengan berdasarkan pada rumus Taro Yamane, maka diperoleh jumlah sampel 64 responden. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment, dilanjutkan dengan teknik regresi linier sederhana untuk meramalkan arah hubungan, sedangkan uji t digunakan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hipotesis penelitian (Ha) dapat diterima.
Dari proses analisis data yang dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan, koefisien korelasi antara intensitas menonton tayangan talkshow Dr. Oz Indonesia Trans TV dengan perilaku hidup sehat sebesar 0,811 yang berarti hubungannya tinggi atau kuat. Hasil perhitungan regresi menjelaskan variabel perilaku hidup sehat ibu rumah tangga mampu dipenuhi dengan intensitas menonton tayangan talkshow Dr.Oz Indonesia Trans TV sebesar 65,7% dengan arah hubungan yang positif. Dari hasil uji t dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh nilai t sebesar 17,359 yang lebih besar dari nilai t tabel yaitu 2,008. Dengan demikian Ho yang menyatakan tidak terdapat hubungan antara intensitas menonton tayangan talkshow Dr. Oz Indonesia Trans TV dengan perilaku hidup sehat pada ibu rumah tangga Kelurahan Karangklesem Kecamatan Purwokerto Selatan ditolak, sedangkan Ha diterima.

This study entitled “Correlation Beetween Intensity of Watching Dr. Oz Indonesia Trans TV Talkshow With the Healthy Living Behaviours of Housewife from Karangklesem Village Purwokerto Selatan Subdistrict”. Using the uses and gratification approach, this study tried to find a correlation between the intensity of watching Dr. Oz Indonesia Trans TV talkshow with the healthy living behaviours of housewife from Karangklesem Village Purwokerto Selatan Subdistrict.
Using research method is a method of quantitative research using survey  methods. Random Proportional Sampling technique chosen to determine the number of respondents who will be based on research samples with the formula Taro Yamane, then obtained the total sample of 64 respondents. Data analysis techniques in this study using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis, followed by simple linear regression technique to predict the direction of the correlation while the t test used to determine the extent to which the research hypothesis (Ha) can be accepted.
From the data analysis process is concluded, the correlation coefficient between the intensity of watching Dr. Oz Indonesia Trans TV talkshow with the healthy living behaviours at 0,811 which means a high or strong correlation. Results of regression calculations to explain the healthy living behaviours of housewife variables can watch a show filled with intensity of watching Dr. Oz Indonesia Trans TV talkshow at 65,7% with the direction of the positive correlation. From the results of t test with a signifance level of 0,05 was obtained t value of 17,359 which bigger than t table value of 2,008. Thus Ho to stating there is a correlation between the intensity of watching Dr. Oz Indonesia Trans TV talkshow with the healthy living behaviours of housewife from Karangklesem Village Purwokerto Selatan Subdistrict rejected, while the working hypothesis (Ha) which states that there is a correlation between the intensity off watching Dr. Oz Indonesia Trans TV talkshow with the healthy living behaviours of housewife from Karangklesem Village Purwokerto Selatan Subdistrict accepted.
