Kehadiran industri PT. Royal Korindah di Kembaran Kulon tentu akan mempengaruhi kehidupan masyarakat sekitar baik kondisi sosial maupun kondisi ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat mengenai dampak PT. Royal Korindah terhadap kondisi sosial masyarakat di Kelurahan Kembaran Kulon dan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat mengenai dampak PT. Royal Korindah terhadap kondisi ekonomi masyarakat di Kelurahan Kembaran Kulon. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan masyarakat memiliki persepsi yang berbeda-beda mengenai dampak PT. Royal Korindah terhadap kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat baik dampak positif dan dampak negatif.Dampak positif keberadaan PT. Royal Korindah terhadap kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat meliputi, munculnya sikap individual pada beberapa masyarakat, namun hal tersebut tidak mengganggu hubungan antar masyarakat lain, terbukti dengan masih aktifnya kegiatan sosial di masyarakat. Perubahan mata pencaharian masyarakat, perubahan pola pikir masyarakat akan pentingnya pendidikan bagi generasi muda. Terbukanya lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat dan membuka plasma industri, peningkatan taraf hidup dan pendapatan masyarakat, tumbuhnya struktur ekonomi baru.Kehadiran PT. Royal Korindah juga mampu mengurangi pengangguran di Kembaran Kulon. Dampak negatif yang dialami oleh masyarakat adalah pencemaran lingkungan akibat limbah pabrik, kemacetan lalu lintas yang diakibatkan pedagang musiman yang berjualan di depan pabrik dan munculnya perilaku konsumtif pada beberapa masyarakat. Keberadaan PT. Royal Korindah di Kembaran Kulon mempengaruhi kehidupan masyarakat terhadap kondisi sosial ekonominya baik dampak positif maupun dampak negatif. Perlunya kerjasama antar pihak masyarakat dan perusahaan untuk menjaga hubungan baik agar tidak terjadi konflik serta peran pemerintah dalam mengawasi keberadaan industri di Purbalingga

The presence of PT. Royal Korindah industry in Kembaran Kulon will certainly affect community’s both social  and economic conditions.This research aims to determine the public perception of the impact of PT. Royal Korindah against social conditions in Kembaran Kulon and to determine the public perception of the impact of PT. Royal Korindah against economic conditions of the community. The results show that the public has a different perception of the impact of PT. Royal Korindah against the social and economic conditions both the positive and negative impacts. The positive impact ofthe presence of PT. Royal Korindah against social and economic conditions of the community include, the emergence of individual attitudes insome communities, but it doesn”t interfere with the relationship between other communities, as proved by active social activities in the community. This industry gives changes of the people's livelihood, change the mindset of community about the importance of education for young people. The opening of jobs for the community and opened the plasma industry, improving standars of living and income, the growth of new economic structure. The presence of PT. Royal Korindah also able to reduces unemployment in the Kembaran Kulon. Other negative impacts experienced by society are the environmental pollution caused by waste plant, traffic congestion caused by seasonal trader swho sell in front ofthe factory and the emergence of the consumer behavior insome communities. The existence of PT. Royal Korindah in Kembaran Kulon affect people's liveson the social and economic condition either positive or negative impact. The need for cooperation between thepublic and companies to maintain good relationsin order to avoid conflict and government rolein overseeing the industry presence in Purbalingga
