PERBEDAAN NON KARKAS DALAM DOMBA EKOR TIPIS BERDASARKAN JENIS KELAMIN

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui bobot potong dan bobot komponen non karkas dalam domba berdasarkan jenis kelamin, dan mempelajari perbedaan bobot non karkas dalam domba berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Ternak yang diteliti yaitu domba ekor tipis (DET) muda (6-12 bulan) jantan 10 ekor dan domba betina 30 ekor. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survey terhadap ternak domba milik para jagal dan penjual sate di wilayah Bumiayu, Kabupaten Brebes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bobot komponen non karkas dalam domba jantan yaitu jantung 210 ± 0,013g, paru-paru 250 ± 0,010g, limpa 60 ± 0,009g, hati 340 ± 0,029g, dan saluran pencernaan 6370 ± 0,174g. Bobot komponen non karkas dalam domba betina yaitu jantung 180 ± 0,015g, paru-paru 230 ± 0,013g, limpa 40 ± 0,008g, hati 300 ± 0,022g, dan saluran pencernaan 5500 ± 0,195g. Hasil uji t menunjukan semua variabel bobot komponen non karkas dalam domba ekor tipis berbeda nyata antara jantan dan betina. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu bobot non karkas dalam pada domba jantan lebih tinggi daripada domba betina, dapat diartikan bahwa jenis kelamin berpengaruh terhadap bobot non karkas dalam dan bobot potong domba jantan lebih tinggi daripada domba betina, dapat diartikan bahwa jenis kelamin berpengaruh terhadap bobot potong.

The purpose of the study was to knowing the slaughter weight and the weight of internal non-carcass components based on sex and studying the differentiation weight of internal non-carcass components based on sex . The animals studied were young thin tail lambs (6-12monts), was 10 head males and 30 females, respectively. The study was conducted by survey method that was about lambs possession butchers and sate seller in Bumiayu District, Brebes Region. The results of this experiment showed that the weight of internal non carcass components of male lambs, heart 210 ± 0,013g, lungs 250 ± 0,010g, spleen 60 ± 0,009g, liver 340 ± 0,029g, and digestive tract 6370 ± 0,174g. The weight of internal non carcass components of female lambs, heart 180 ± 0,015g, lungs 230 ± 0,013g, spleen 40 ± 0,008g, liver 300 ± 0,022g, and digestive tract 5500 ± 0,009g. T test results showed all internal non-carcass variables of the thin tail lambs were significantly different between males and females. Conclusion the weight of internal non-carcass the male higher than female, those can be interpreted that the sex affects into the internal non-carcass weight and the slaughter weight the male higher than female, those can be interpreted that the sex affects into the slaughter weight.
