ABSTRAKSI
Penelitian ini mengambil judul Representasi Pencitraan Positif Terhadap
Diri,Keluarga, dan Perusahaan(Studi Analisis Semiotika dalam Film Serial Drama
Korea The Heirs). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tanda-tanda yang
digunakan dalam film serial drama The Heirs yang dapat merepresentasikan
pencitraan terhadap diri, keluarga, dan perusahaan.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis
semiotik. Analisis semiotik yang digunakan adalah Codes of Television milik John
Fiske. Subjek penelitian yang akan diteliti oleh peneliti adalah dengan menganalisis
dengan analisis semiotika pada film serial drama Korea The Heirs. Objek penelitian
pada penelitian adalah mengenai representasi pencitraan terhadap diri, keluarga, dan
perusahaan yang terdapat dalam adegan di filmThe Heirs.
Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan meng-capture
beberapa adegan film. Selanjutnya peneliti akan mencoba untuk menganalisisnya
dengan menggunakan teori yang digagas oleh Fiske yaitu Codes of Television.
Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah dalam film serial drama
Korea The Heirs terdapat banyak tanda-tanda yang menciptakan representasi
pencitraan positif terhadap diri, keluarga dan perusahaan yang dijelaskan melalui
level I, level II, dan level III. Representasi pencitraan positif terhadpat diri, keluarga
dan perusahaan dalam film serial drama Korea The Heirs ditunjukkan melalui tiga hal
yaitu mengenai alasan, upaya dan bagaimana pencitraan positif terhadap diri,
keluarga dan perusahaan dapat terjadi.

ABSTRACT
This research was entitled Representation of Positive Image of Self, Family
and Company (Studies Semiotics Analysis in the film Korean drama series The
Heirs). This research was conducted to know the signs used in the film Korean drama
series The Heirs that represent the image of self, family, and company.
The method used in this research is the semiotic analysis. Semiotic analysis
used is Codes of Television of John Fiske. Research subjects in were studied by the
researcher is to analyzed by the semiotic analysis of film Korean drama series The
Heirs. The object of research is the study of the representation of the image of self,
family, and companies featured in the scene in filmThe Heirs.
Data collection method in this research is by capturing some scenes of the
movie. Furthermore, researcher analyzed by using the theory proposed by Fiske
Codes of Television.
The results from this research are in the film Korean drama series The Heirs
there are many signs that create a positive image representations of self, family and
the company described by level I, level II and level III. Representation of a positive
image of self, family and the company in the film Korean drama series The Heirs is
shown through three things: the reasons, the efforts and how of a positive images of
themselves, their families and the company can be happen.
