Penelitian ini berjudul “VARIABEL-VARIABEL YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENDAPATAN USAHA AYAM PEDAGING DI KECAMATAN BATURRADEN KABUPATEN BANYUMAS”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal, lama usaha, dan jam kerja terhadap pendapatan yang diperoleh peternak ayam pedaging dan untuk mengetahui variabel yang mempunyai pengaruh paling besar terhadap pendapatan yang diperoleh peternak ayam pedaging di Kecamatan Baturraden Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantatif dengan data primer dan data sekunder pada pada usaha ayam pedaging, dimana terlebih dahulu dilakukan perhitungan dengan alat analisis yang ada baru kemudian dijelaskan dalam bentuk deskriptif. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Regresi Linear Berganda, Uji Statistik, Uji Asumsi Klasik, dan Uji Elastisitas.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis Regresi Linear Berganda menunjukkan bahwa modal, lama usaha dan jam kerja berpengaruh secara bersama-sama dan parsial terhadapan pendapatan usaha ayam pedaging. Berdasarkan uji F dan uji t menunjukan bahwa pada selang kepercayaan 95% dalam variabel modal (X1), lama usaha (X2), dan jam kerja (X3) menunjukan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pendapatan (Y) pendapatan usaha ayam pedaging di Kecamatan Baturraden Kabupaten Banyumas. Berdasarkan uji asumsi klasik, menunjukkan bahwa distribusi ketiga variable normal. Berdasarkan hasil uji elastisitas menunjukkan bahwa variabel modal (E1) paling berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan usaha ayam pedaging dibandingkan dengan variabel lama usaha (E2) dan variabel jam kerja (E3).
Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah Usaha ayam pedaging di Kecamatan Baturraden Kabupaten Banyumas penting untuk memperhatikan variabel modal, lama usaha dan jam kerja, karena ketiga variabel tersebut secara nyata berpengaruh secara bersama-sama dan parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan usaha ayam pedaging. Hal ini dapat dilakukan salah satunya dengan cara melakukan pembukuan penggunaan modal dengan cermat dan teratur, pencatatan jumlah produksi ayam pada setiap periodenya, konstruksi kandang akan mempengaruhi jumlah produksi, hal ini menjadi salah satu modal yang sangat mempengaruhi pendapatan suatu usaha ayam pedaging. Lamanya usaha menentukan pengetahuan akan mengelola usahanya dan curahan waktu para pekerja juga perlu diperhatikan. Para pengusaha ayam pedaging di Kecamatan Baturraden Kabupaten Banyumas lebih memperhatikan dan menitik-beratkan pada modal, karena dalam hasil uji elastisitas modal merupakan variabel yang sangat menentukan pendapatan yang diperoleh peternak. Modal yang dimaksud seperti konstruksi kandang, apabila kapasitas kandang besar tentu produksi ayam juga lebih banyak dan pendapatan yang diperoleh akan besar pula.

This  research  was  entitled  "The Variables  Affecting  the  Income  of  Broiler 
Business  in  Baturraden  Sub-district  Banyumas  Regency".  The  aim  of  this  research 
was to determine the effect of capital, business duration and working hours toward
the income earned by broiler breeder and to determine the variable that has the most
significant  effect  toward  the  income  earned  by  broiler  breeder.  This  research  was 
descriptive  quantitative  with  secondary  data  on  broiler  business,  Then  first
performed calculations with existing analysis tools then described descriptively. The
analytical  tool  used  in  this  research  is  multiple  linear  regression,  statistic  test,
classical assumption test, and elasticity test.
Based on the research results of Multiple Linear Regression showed that the 
captal,  business  duration,  and  working  hours  simultaneously  and  partially  has
significant effect toward the income of broiler business.Based on the F Test and t Test
showed that the 95% confidence interval in the capital (X1), business duration (X2),
and working hours (X3) showed a significant effect on income (Y) of broiler business
in  Baturraden  sub-district  Banyumas  Regency. Based  on  the research results of 
Classical Assumption Test showed that distribute of the third s normal. Based on the
research results of Elasticity Test showed that the capital variable (E3) is the most
influential variable toward the income of broiler business in Baturraden sub-district,
Banyumas Regency compared to business duration variable (E2) and working hour
(E3).
The implication of this research isBroiler business in Baturraden sub-district
Banyumas Regency is important to pay attention to variable of capital, business
duration and working hour, because the three variables simultaneously and partially
has significantly effect toward the income of broiler business. This can be carried out
well, one of the ways is by making bookkeeping on the use of capital carefully and
regularly,  recording  the  number  of  chicken  production  on  each  period, cage  of
construction will affect the amount of production, it is becoming one of the capital
that  greatly  affect  the  income  of  a  business  broilers.  The  business  duration  to
determine the knowledge to manage their business and the working hours also need
to  be  considered.  The  breeder  of  broiler  in  Baturraden  sub-district  Banyumas
Regency should be pay attention more and focus on capital, because in the result of 
elasticity test, capital are variables that determine the income of farmers . Capital is 
defined as the construction of the cage, if the capacity of a large cage, so the chicken
production will more too and earned income will be greater.
