Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis variabel yang dapat mempengaruhi penerimaan pajak hotel di Kabupaten Banyumas periode tahun 2003-2012, untuk menganalisis pengaruh secara parsial masing-masing variabel terhadap penerimaan pajak hotel di Kabupaten Banyumas periode tahun 2003-2012, untuk mengetahui variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap penerimaan pajak hotel di Kabupaten Banyumas periode tahun 2003-2012. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa variabel jumlah hotel, jumlah wisatawan yang menginap di hotel, dan tingkat hunian hotel mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap penerimaan pajak hotel, secara parsial variabel tingkat hunian hotel adalah yang berpengaruh secara signifikan, dan untuk variabel yang paling berpengaruh adalah tingkat hunian hotel. Dalam meningkatkan realisasi penerimaan pajak hotel di Kabupaten Banyumas, Pemerintah sebaiknya memaksimalkan informasi berbagai hal mengenai hotel yang ada di Banyumas, dan membuat suatu pagelaran seni adat budaya secara periodik, contoh kirab budaya dan yang lainnya agar para wisatawan mau berkunjung dan menginap di hotel untuk waktu yang lama. Untuk para perusahaan hotel upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan meningkatkan pelayanan yang ada di hotel itu sendiri, seperti fasilitas, sosialisi hotel, maupun promo dengan potongan harga (discount), atau marketting promo khusus contohnya paket menginap di hotel sekaligus berwisata ke suatu objek.

The purpose of this study are to analyze the variables that can affect the hotel tax revenue in Banyumas year period 2003-2012, to analyze the effect of partially each variable to the hotel tax revenue in Banyumas the period 2003-2012, to determine which variables are most influential of the hotel tax revenue in the period 2003-2012 Banyumas. Based on the results of the analysis showed that a variable number of hotels, number of tourists staying at the hotel, and hotel occupancy rates have a positive impact on hotel tax revenue, in partial occupancy rates are having a significant effect, and for the most influential variable is the level of occupancy. In raising the hotel tax revenue in Banyumas, the Government should maximize the information about the various things that the hotel is in Banyumas, and create a culture of indigenous art performance on a periodic basis, for example carnival culture and the other for tourists wishing to visit and stay for a long time. For hotel companies attempt to do is to improve the existing services in the hotel itself, such as facilities, hotel socialization, as well as a promo with the rebate (discount), or a special promo marketting example package staying at the hotel at once traveled to an object.
